I'm 24 years old and I've been a meth user for almost 5 years now. I understand it's stupid and single handling ruining my life, but I have never gotten the will or motivation to want to quit. I only smoke never shoot up. Anyway my question(s) In the past 811 days I literally have smoked every single one of those days, and quit frankly I'm scared. I'm not your average tweaker I sleep every night maybe 4-7 hours. I eat everyday and since I hate the taste of meth I've used a chaser when I smoke lol mainly any kind of juice I'll take a hit and as soon as I blow out I take a drink. So add all that up Ive actually gained weight ...a lot of weight. Im 6 foot and 315 pounds. Shocking I know I carry my weight well I guess. So when I think about my overall health on top of smoking meth everyday for almost 2 years oh and I smoke about a pack of cigarettes a day.

Question: What serious risks am I facing? Could I simply one day drop dead? And if that were the case what would be the actually cause of death?

I have no experience with meth. However I do know meth isn't too good for the heart and lungs. If you don't change soon you are on the fast track to very serious heart and lung diseases. You may have a heart attack or you may suffer from disease, now is a good time to make a change.

I'm sure you've read all the stories of the destruction meth has caused, no?

I've never tried meth or crack & could never understand what people like about their heart pounding so fast & hard, it feels its about to pop out of their chest.......but to each their own.

You have been smoking for 2 years where it could have done damage but the only way to really know is to go get a thorough medical examination.

Just some of the problems you may get from long term smoking is irreversible harm like increased heart rate & blood pressure, damaged blood vessels in the brain that can cause a stroke or an irregular heartbeat & a possibility of heart failure (heart attack)........also, liver, kidney & lung damage.

You may also suffer brain damage & severe memory gap loss & extreme mood swings.

If you quit, then you gotta deal with other things like psychosis & depression, sometimes severe.

Quit a.s.a.p. & get a medical examination & take care of yourself.......at least you ate regularly & got sleep.

I don't even want to get into what meth does to your mouth & teeth.......also what it does to your skin & face.

Good luck........

I might go see a pulmonary specialist if your insurance will cover it, just because that stuff is so corrosive to the lung tissue, things like COPD are a risk. Just go and get checked out. Would something similar like ecstacy (which is a pill and can be swallowed) maybe be an option instead of meth? That would be a little easier on your body.

How much GHB are you taking a day? I was very similar, using a lot of ice everyday as well as constantly charging day n night for a few years, 12 months basically everyday. I guess with juice you can eat, sleep, basically I thought everything in the world was better once juiced.. My experience is, once you build up your tolerance, and your not taking too many downers, like heaps of K, smoking bongs mix with Xanz or using smack ontop. your pretty safe.. (Sometimes)The worst thing is, you can't do anything without it n feel so depressed n dependent on it.. If your using a lot, make sure you go into a rehab or detox if you want to quit, so they can give you vals n take ur blood pressure, it's really dangerous to stop cold Turkey.. (I remember that horrible feeling, laying in bed after having a full plung n a couple of xanic, praying I wasn't going to die in my sleep)
Did you want to stop using though??
My opinion is that it shouldn't kill you anytime soon, it will just send you mad)

Also, I just quickly read the previous comments. Yes, don't get me wrong all drugs are bad n can end up killing you n fucking your lungs, heart etc etc. I wouldn't get to paranoid about your physically health.. when you decided to quit, your body bouncers back pretty quickly, if you didn't use needles n accident catch Hep C.. the issues might be really minor, like take vitamin D, B-12, sugar levels from yoyo eating, maybe even IBS.. To be honest I would be more worried about your mental damage. It takes so long for the Nuro pathways to slowly get healed.. Hope this helps, cheers

The problems might be minor now but no one can sustain that kind of habit without inflicting some sort of damage. At least you should try switching to the oral route, it isn't as efficient but it will definitely spare your lungs and probably last longer.
