Johnny's mother sent me the following message:

This is Jonny Martin's mother. We want to thank all the bluelight members who joined us on zoom for Jonathan's memorial last night. It was a fitting and beautiful tribute to our precious son, brother, nephew and grandson. I hope everyone is careful. You just never know and I would hate for any of your families to experience the devastation we are experiencing. 🕊️

Jonny and the other members of Vollmer were staunch feminists, and they believed that Joan Vollmer was a brilliant woman with a lot of great ideas who was intentionally murdered by Bill. I think they wanted to honour her memory and give her the recognition she deserved.
