we are unfortunate to have had DJ STEADY B cancel on the 5th so that leaves us with an open slot. if you are a dj and you would like to play this event as the opening slot read these simple rules and all should be well! hope to hear from a few good djs. this may lead to future bookings.


1. you must be able to beat match records and spin well in order to play. if this is not you, please do not respond.

2. you must have your own records, headphones, and needles. and bring a crew with you!!

3. you must be able to show up at the event early. 7:30 we will start to draw names from the bucket. the 1st dj that we pull from the bucket that is there with everything he needs will be the dj to open the show at 8pm. furthermore, the winning dj does still need to pay to enter, but you will receive a vip laminate on a lanyard for a memory of this event. and remember this could potentially lead to future bookings. if this is all you then proceed to step 4.

so a said dj has to pay$ to play a slot @ 8pm, & must" bring a crew" w/ them(who I assume also have to pay$) but they get a "vip laminate" which makes the said dj

yes they need to pay. they dont NEED to bring a crew, but why shouldnt they? this is for djs that dont get to play out but have the skills that it takes to rock a crowed. this gives no name djs a very good chance at playing at a future event and to me as i have tried to come up in the dj community is worth every bit of 10 bux. this isnt for established dj unless they want it to be. this is for the bedroom dj that has had no other break in the game. if this isnt you, then im verty sorry. this doesnt mean that established djs cant apply. its all up to the individual but this post explains exactly who this is for.

actually if this goes off well, gizzmo will be doing a dubstep set at 3am. still need to hear from him tho.
 
I would have to say that the house portion will be a good salad to the dubstep meat & potatoes...
 
ha.... I remember seeing dieselboy there too back in 01 or 02

that's a large venue.... you guys really planning on packing that spot?

Does the VIP laminate have a redeemable cash value? or unlimited free drinks perk attached? can we at least stand on the stage and act cool?
