nice venue. nice turnout. cheap drinks...all's good on that front.

cons: sound. "new heavy bass monthly" with no real bass to speak of...:\

other than that i thought it worked well @ the voll-WRATH.

i kept getting varying opinions on the sound ... but looks like im gonna have to rent some subs for the next one.

thanks to everyone that came out. between the storm and the wedding, we lost a few ppl, but all in all it was a good time!

like i have said before, the vollrath is more or less a nicer melody inn.

if anyone has some real sound suggestions, i have open ears.

not a full rig. if kyle did the entire setup, it would easily double my expenses. motif said he had a couple self powered 18"s he said i could use for july, so i think thats the route im going on that.

Agreed. Had I known beforehand that there was a lack of monitors I could have possibly arranged to bring mine in.

monitors were there ... RJ just didnt know how to hook them up. for some reason he thought djs didnt need monitors. i didnt know we were lacking monitors until about midnight. that will be take care of as well for july 10th.
