IN, Indy - 01.17.09 Saturday - DJ ICEY & more!

My buddy and I had an awesome time. I'll have to echo the bar complaints -- I waited for 20+ minutes, got fed up and decided to become my own designated driver. Luckily we showed up at 11:30 (which I feared was too late), but which turned out to be just in time to avoid the silly excise crackdown. I loved the huge turnout. There were a few candy kids in attendance, and they provided a pleasant amount of diversity.

Oh, and I talked with Matt and Sash for a bit -- you guys were really cool and I can't wait for future events!
 
Wish I could've been able to socialize more, but all in all it was a good crowd, tunes were decent, and everyone (for the most part) seemed to be in a good mood and having a good time. :)
 
Wow.... my legs hurt. I haven't danced that hard in a long time. Plus the fact, I keep forgetting I'm in my 30's now and things just take more time to recover, from both dancing and alcohol. The woman's bathroom situation was the worst!! ATTA Boy! (plumber) should have been called in. Having drank a lot of water and alcohol that day made it a bit ruff.

It was great to see some old friends last night I haven't seen in literealy YEARS!
A friend told me he talked to some kids that drove all the way from St. Louis and Cleveland for last nights show.

I had a fantastic time. Crowd was great.. vibe was awesome. Met some new cool people. It's a whole new wave of party kids out there lol. Congrats Turtle.. Very proud of you.
 
So I really wish I knew what you all looked like so I could remember if I saw you... :(

I was wearing a my little Pony Skirt.... and of course a little kandi....
 
hahaha... actually.. one approached me and asked me for 15 bucks lol. And the other... couldn' help but notice a short little blonde girl with furry boots lol
 
The short one was april... She came with me.. I was not wearing furries but would have loved some... I was wearing a tiny purple crown....
 
Disappointed we couldnt make it out for this. We were stuck at a holiday party until 12:30 or so :(

Really glad to hear it went off well. Big props to Gary and Matt. Hopefully this can create some momentum......
 
We had a blast! Thanks to all those involved with making this happen!

Getting older, having a family and career, we don't make it out like we used to years ago. But when the right DJ's get brought within range, we'll def do our best to be there every time.

Family and life comes first these days, but good music and dancing for hours is still my #1 passion when I get to take time for myself. Anymore I get to dance a couple times per year, so the occasions that come around are def cherished.

Thanks to everyone that put it together, thanks to everyone that got off their asses and danced, and thanks to everyone that was more than kind and payed compliments. I never get tired of hearing them.

I'm glad I decided to come out to this. I had planned on it from the get go but @ the last minute I was not feeling in the mood to go out. Thank god my friend talked me into going. I had a blast! I don't ever remember Therapy being that packed. All the dj's that I saw rocked out! I was rather surprised by Icey's performance too! Well done. I had my doubts, 'cause the last couple of times I've seen him he didn't impress me. Good to know he's back on that horse! Always a pleasure to see the Indy peeps when I can. You know who you are! Yeah the whole bar situation was quite ridiculous. I wasn't patient enough to wait anymore than 15 min for drink. I kept running back and forth from bar to bar to see who would serve me first. That plan seemed to work decently, lol! Can't wait to hit up Indy again!! Also it's been a minute since I've played there. *wink, wink*
