SAME here ! - - west coast DnB was nice. interesting flav - Didnt notice the sound problems, they seemed like part of the music ! (new dj trick) Good vibe, everything ran smoothly, good turn out of a particular crossection of the overall edm scene...............
 
Thanks to all who came out and saw me and Prophet. We had a really great time, and Jayvon rocked it out. We apologize for the sound problems... it was a circuit breaker... not the speakers, so don't blame the sound guy :) Anyway for all who liked the Prophuzion set, you should be sure to come out for Dara this saturday as I will playing there too.

Big up to all who participated and made it possible.
 
twas a great night. Had lots o' fun. the only thing that kinda sucked was the bar! why the hell didn't they have at least two bartenders at the front. That shit was ridiculous. But, I still managed to drink plenty of alcohol. :)
 
vodka and "energy" drinks were $5 not $3, no big deal. Once I got to eating the Ice after my shot of red bull, I chomped into the bottom of a cigarrette wrapper in my cup buried in the ice.WTFisDAT?

maybe the wrapper was what the extra charge was all about. mmm was it ever tasty:(

thats my only complaint...against the actual club. other than that, everything that was in the hands of promoters, djs, etc was great.
 
^man fusion has gone to shit...

i remeber the days of the gorgeous big tittied blonde girl who gave out free "shots" (which were barely alcohol but still)... and jared giving me free drinks... before the times of nasty ass mystery "energy drink" on tap...

i miss the big tittied bartender... and the bar full of cool people to talk to... one more reason not to go to fusion...
 
Oh my god, I forgot about that wait for drinks. That was the only thing that sucked. I could even handle the sound cutting in and out cause that's cool, it happens. But getting there a bit late the first thing I wanted was a drink and I had to wait 20 mins. It was touture cause all I wanted to do was mingle and I'm stuck at the bar waiting forever. Get it together bar attenders. Fusions bar service has always been fucked up but this night it was the worst I've seen it. I understand that they were really busy but that's why they needed like 3-5 people bar attending to keep it rolling.
 
fusion is the most poorly ran bar on the face of the earth. which sucks because it is one of the only venues for over 21 we have. we have good promoters throwing some great shows, but unfortunately because of the bar (not the promoters) i pretty much refuse to go there. if its not the toilets not working and no tp, they are out of drinks i want at the bar, etc. wish we could all find another bar for these events or as promoters, we could tell fusion to get their act together or we all ban together and tell them if not, we are giving them the middle finger.
 
they could at least put some friggin locks on the girls bathroom stalls. They just stand wide open and you have to push on the doors really hard to close them all the way, and even then they don't close, you have to hold it shut. Hey, it's really hard to pee, smoke a cigarette, hold a beer, and keep the door shut all at the same time! ;)

(I missed a couple of events at fusion before I found it some time ago)

the bartenders look good at mirage as well. I will put anyone wanting to throw an event there in touch with the owner if they wish.

Its actually already happening / plans are being made...those announcements will be made later by the promoters involved.
 
^ I think that's the best idea yet. The Mirage would be perfect. It's very very spacious too. Lots of pool tables and other games to play if interested. Bathrooms are clean and all the stalls have locks. REally great drink prices, $3 jager boms (on thursdays, don't know bout weekends). Huge dancefloor, plenty of cool lighting. It's really ideal for bigger shows.
 
not ready to post my final thoughts, bc i am not sure how loudly i wanna put some situations on blast......(lets just say i might use the phrase "fuck _____" repeatedly.)

but did anyone happen to take pictures saturday? especially the cake before some fucker crushed it (i will hunt that person down)...
 
blah blah blah... i had fun. i had to be at work in the morning @ 9... but needless to say... went to the after party... which was boring as usual. wasnt even too drunk. *shrug* and ryan.... i hate your homosexual wang.
