4x4 is the basic beat arrangment for house and techno.

....somebody is definitelya noob....not that its a bad thing bc hopefully some day you will be jaded too.
 
^^^^^^ funny i always thought that 4X4 was what your going to need to get to this on thursday if this damn snow hits like they say it will. I fucking hate snow...well that kind anyways
 
u like dnb, and i like techno/house

i am hardly a newbie by any stretch of the imagination...i'm just not used to that terminology, and did not make the connection right away...house and techno, especially hard house and tech-house are ingrained in my soul, and i doubt i will ever be jaded...it's simply my favorite kind of music....generally, electronica is my favorite genre of music, in as much as i truly love classical music, indie rock, classic rock, as well as a whole host of other genres...over the course of most of my life, i have had considerable exposure to practically every genre of music you can think of, and during the last few years, i think i've reached a plateau where i have found hard house tech house,etc,..to be the most consistantly satisfying to my tastes....actually that really makes sense, since i believe electronic artists specialize in being derivative....but i digress...see ya at the jazz kitchen, geek ;)

are you addressing me? why the hostility? i completely agree with your point...you can love all forms of music, but still have a favorite, there's nothing wrong with that...actually your point only emphasizes my point...your hostility doesnt makes sense to me? i mean if you have a disagreement with me that's cool , but why be disrespectful?--if you were addressing me that is...

btw, the only intention of my post was to talk about MY personal favorite kind of music, that's all, i apologize if i was a little self-indulgent....but i certainly was not speaking for anyone else, nor was i trying to spark some debate about music, or anything like that, just wanted to clarify...and i already feel like i've said enough, and now i really will shut the fuck up and listen to some music....;)

cause its pouring snow outside. i havent gone in forever. should prolly hit slater up and chat with him anyways. maybe next week ill show up.

busy with school and whatever. now that finals are over i feel better.

and i must ask again... who are you damnit? lol.
 
lol-nobody, believe me, just a jerk in a dork suit...ya i wanted to go today, lots of peeps expected...but i got in a heated argument with the family and my mood went down the toilet....actually nothing that bad,anyways....ya, i'm thinking next week's always possible, although i gotta be up at 4 in da morn'!...oh well, i'll sleep when i'm dead....:)
 
^well come introduce yourself to me. ask for jen. i wont be hard to find. im not as much of a "snob" as i make myself out to be. ;) i like everyone except for a select few.
