Whenever I play out, I don't know more than a few days ahead. That's not a lot of time to round up people who already have something scheduled to come out. Plus, we might get more out-of-towners if they could plan for it. ;)

thanks! i had a lot of fun playing it...and it was exciting to see people out on the dancefloor for a change ;) the point of playing daft punk was to prove something to myself: that no matter what's going on if daft punk is being played people start to come together in a positive way. ppl that don't even like electronic music generally can get behind daft punk's music after a few listens ;) i guess seeing everybody comiserate on the dance floor was a bday present to myself but it was also a showing of gratitude towards the dj's, patrons and friends who help make tuesday night at the mel what it is. i'm thrilled that everybody enjoyed themselves as much as i did....it makes me feel good about myself and tbh helps alleviate the growing pains of turning 30.

thanks again for making last nite memorable...and happy birthday to all my fellow feeeeesh <3

i think monkey is playing saturday nite @ the house party so you can catch him there if you want...and yes, i agree, more people need to see monkey spin ;)

And how did i not know of this afterparty. it's like i'm in the twilight zone, ah!!!

Hope everyone enjoys the Behringer 400 mixer. It's replacing the numark. I only use it for house parties, so no biggie.
