Damn, nailed the rumba sessions. Bravo, good sir.

Those turntables were cursed last night, as soon as I made contact with the pitch control of the tech it must have shorted the circuit and I immediately lost -2 pitch without moving the slider. The Gem was even acting better than the Tech. :!

No? Damn. Thought I heard that one at some point. I guess I just heard the beginning of Move On, though it was Part of Me, and then thought you played both afterwards.

I do this all of the time.

I was playing the version mix of Move On, so it takes a good 4 minutes for the main synth riff to come in.

Konkrete Indy has lost one of our own... We sadly announce the passing of one of our resident djs Chad "ra cypher" Bauman. His talent, support , & friendship will leave Indy's drum & bass scene with a huge Chad shaped hole in our hearts. The level of dedication shown by this man will go unmatched, as will the comic relief he provided us all with his vibrant character.


We will be holding a very special event Tuesday November 4th @ the Melody Inn to celebrate the life of our good friend Ra Cypher.

this news just crushed me. anyone who knows the haps on funeral and such PLEASE keep me posted. I'm blown away. I can't make it out tonight but Chad's family and friends will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Damn... I forgot everything I was gonna say when I saw the quote for Chad.

Still just off guard on that one. I talked to him Friday to see if he was coming out to Therapy for the dubstep.... he said they were just gonna chill and stay in and he'd hit me up if anything changes.

i just recorded a mix in memory of chad. i will be posting it soon...it's as subtle and eclectic as he was, i think. i'd only rehearsed it once last night and that was just for the first 10 tracks or so. came back today and restructured the playlist order and winged it on just over half of the tunes i played...imo it just came out super smooth on the first take %) i would like to think chad was over my shoulder motivating me to keep it deep and push the sound he loved so much.

rip ra cypher.

once i get the .wav to monkey for proper audiophile enhancing i'll get a .cue file/tracklisting,etc up for everybody. give me a couple of days...if u want the rough cut now just hit me up and i'll aim it to you or host it somewhere and send a link.
