-nice one- on all the bulletin support...
I kno that mutha fuka is popin off right about now... cheers*

Thanks for havin' me out. First time playing most of that acid jazz / downtempo / house stuff, and I didn't have a whole lot of time to practice with it. Please forgive the sloppy mixing.

I had a blast, let's keep it rolling guys. Seth and Dave killed it. The lil bit of George's set I heard was solid as well.

Cheers!

I was digging the set. Do you have a longer mix of this stuff?

thanks to seth, monkey and mpathe for coming out and bringing the heat %) it was really awesome to see that random old schooler (on a bluetoothin' date w/ his boo) really get into what you were playing :D seeing something like that is the best part of this night...it's a platform for dj's to get their sound out and last night had great diversity that kept the vibe flowin' till late. juxtapose is going to come correct. standard ;)

july lineups and info up soon...

www.myspace.com/juxtapozeindy

facebook page up soon...

I had to work an overnight :(

yeah whatever:p You were at a country bar dancin to some boot, scoot, and boogey. You can't resist those drink specials can ya. You do fish a lot so that does somewhat label you going out to square dancing farms every once in awhile. As long as you have a beer in your hand you are find and dandy. I've bet you've tried to mc over country music, haha!!!

blahbalhblahblu.......ok im done=D

brandon: phone call made/pm sent...get at me :)

JUNE 30th lineup for Juxtapose @ the Mel is as follows:

9:30 - 10:30 gizzmo (hip hop set)
10:30 - 11:30 kodama
11:30 - 12:30 psynapse
12:30 - 1:30 optimo
1:30 - 2:30 parallel

unless we get any dj's between now and then i'm sure we'll make do with someone willing to fill the slots on the up and up...

as for the future we will hopefully have july's entire monthly lineup posted w/ web flyer and other necessary info up no later than july 7th. flyers should be finalized and in the printer's hands sometime next week and available for mass spamming by the first show in july...august's lineup is nearly confirmed at this point. still working out the kinks and getting everybody on the same page but it's coming along. stay posted for all the juicy details...be on the lookout for a facebook page in the near future (basically once myself or someone else finds the time to do it...)

Earth Records was Bukem's off shoot label for rare-groove based music. Although a lot of the compilations that came out under the Earth banner didn't have a lot of D&B on them, the D&B tracks they did have were amazing and sublime.

Bukem's own Constellations with DRS on vocals sets the tone for the mix, but big back-in-the-day artists like Blame, Crystal, Addiction, Phunky Technicians & Doc Scott all make this a listening pleasure.

Don't just stand there, chill out.

Woz - Earthlings - 1hr of Earth Records

LTJ Bukem - Constellations
Pablo - Do What You Gotta Do
Appaloosa - Traveling
Blame - Revival
Intense - Flashback
Vincent - Scythe (Studio Mix)
DJ Crystal - Mind Games
DJ Addiction - Senses
PHD & The Funky Technicians - Above & Beyond
Words 2B Heard Meets Ad-Ill (Planet Invasion) - Con-Quest
Doc Scott - Tokyo Dawn

DnB mix of Earth stuff.
