TOMORROW NIGHT!!

is yet another MAJOR installment of Juxtapoze! to follow in the tradition of giving for the holidays we teamed up with A-Squared to have a canned food drive benefiting hungry/needy familys in the indianapolis area. i believe Gleaners will be accepting the donations :)

we have a couple of debuts for the Juxtapoze family to NOM NOM NOM NOM on so come fill your bellies with tasty sonic treats :)

for those of you that DON'T KNOW (and if you seriously don't you really need to pay attention to your local scene a little more) A-Squared makes serious moves in this city. on top of running Indy CD & Vinyl in broad ripple (i encourage you to go there often to peruse their shelves because the music selection has a little bit for everybody) they also support the Indy Rollergirls events, first tuesdays at the Lockerbie Pub has become an underground cult-hipster HIT and they also support local rock shows of all varieties (and namely teaming up with MOKB to bring Major Lazor to the vogue in march). it's truly an honor (and a major nod in our favor) that they are gracing the juxtapoze stage :) please show love to andy and annie because they are going to RINSE IT. also...annie's birthday is a few days away so be sure to wish her a happy one <3

and...Waves In Time. well, yet again we buck the trend of broken tuesdays and konkrete jungles past by expanding the sonic buffet provided for your listening pleasure. these guys are DOPE. any breakbeat junkie has to appreciate jazz, blues, rock, and hip-hop so rest assured that with this outfit you're going to get all of it and then some. hailing from bloominton their jazz-fusion jams are a treat for any music fan...but to have local scene LEGEND rusty redenbacher MC over their set is truly EPIC. so expect the unexpected and also expect something for all the four-track minds *hint*hint* coming live and direct with full instrumental bad-assery :)

we also have some dj's performing some drum & bass AND dubstep for us courtesy of Josh Ender and Juxtapoze resident Psynapse aka Dubstep Christ. expect a heavy dose of DIRT and enough bass to rock ya chestplates ;)

remember this is a canned food drive and if i'm not mistaken it's also an EARLY SHOW!! music starts at 9pm (correct me if i'm wrong but i don't have a flyer handy to double check my statement) so please get in early...A-Squared runs advertisements in Nuvo and Metromix every week and they've been plugging this show HARD so please expect for the Mel to hit capacity. with the combined promotional powers of a-squared, rusty, waves in time and Juxtapoze i think to doubt this claim would be foolish...

Correct.

Waves In Time will be going on at 12am till whenever they feel like, so as to stop as much unnecessary 'down time' as possible. We've shifted everything a half hour earlier to accommodate for the necessary time to allow them to set up all their equipment.
 
bout to raid the cupboard for this one. bring more than 3 for certain. good shit too. if you live in indiana ya gotta like corn right? :)
 
it's looking like the 29th show is going to be an early one as well and also time slots are going to be consolidated...having yet another booking miscommunication :(

your slot isn't affected, brandon. just had to start the night a half hr earlier and cut the first two sets short by 15 mins to compensate. juxtapoze needs your 'surprise' set...
