2009 has been an amazing year for EDM in Indianapolis and coming in 2010, Bang Tech 12 will bring you Get Down @ The Red Room, a fresh new weekly electronic music event located on the northside of the city in the Broad Ripple village.

The Red Room provides a great atmosphere with 2 rooms, a patio, good sound and lights, an awesome staff, huge windows overlooking Broad Ripple and a great dance floor area surrounded by comfortable seating.

Bang Tech 12 is committed to providing great music in a sophisticated venue and in order to ensure the continued growth of the underground electronic music scene in Indianapolis, Get Down @ The Red Room will have no cover at the door and amazing drink specials. I'm sure many of you have noticed that starting in 2010 there will be TWO "underground electronic dance music" events occurring every Thursday. When the opportunity at the Red Room was presented to me, the first person I contacted was Slater to inquire about the state of Keepin' it Deep and what his intentions were. At that time he said they were bringing one or two headliners a month so I decided to go ahead with Get Down.

Since the first couple shows at Blu have gone so well, the club wanted Slater to do events every week and I don't blame them. So here we are....

Slater and I have talked about the issue and believe there is room for both events to be successful. With the continued growth of electronic music in Indy it was inevitable that there would be two shows happening on the same night.

I have nothing but respect for Slater. Dude has been pushing the scene since I was in phat pants and visors. I'm going to do everything I can to "tip toe" around his events and continue reaching new minds threw events at the Red Room.

KiD has DJ Dan 1.14 - Get Down is doing a DnB night

KiD has Derrick Carter 1.21 - Get Down will have Jackola and Brandon Patrik play early so if you plan on attending KiD this night, stop by and take advantage of the free entry and wicked drink specials on your way downtown ;)

I also have some headliners in the pipeline but am waiting to see how the first couple weeks go before signing contracts.
