Phantom 45 and his agency are shady bastards and I hope that people will stop bringing him down here. I know he lives in Chicago and he is somewhat easy to get down here, but come on. We are tired of seeing him and Sondra C. and the other GM hooligans are shady people. Why risk it?

Well....

Here's the deal on the time slots. Pixie was going to be dropped to add Lmnts, so I was going to sacrifice my slot, then mason steped in and shrunk his slot by 15 min so and Pixie's by 15 Min, etc. so there are some 45 min slots.

Mr. Geekster, I'm sory you have unsavory feelings toward me. I know I threw away your flyers 2 or 3 years ago, but you asked me if you could hand them out and I said no, but you did it any way. I had to throw them out (Pull them to the side) due to the strickt rules of the hotel which was kind enough to let us throw the events. I actualy dug them out when the hotel staff was gone and placed them throughout the town.

Pharmy, sory if there was some price confusion, the mod can certianly edit it (Wink Wink) And I love what yalls doin up there in Nap, where I was born and raised. I simply love it. You guys, starbuck, funkshun, Pharmy, THC Syndicate, everyone.... you've all inspired me with a new energy. I know I'm quiet usualy, don't be afraid to say hi and get to know me.

Collin B, A positive attitude, I'm promoting your event at Bulls with the stack of flyers I got from your home at the afterparty of the last event that I saw you and Ashley play (Bulls). I'll see you tonight, to show my support and have a blast.

Lastly, I didn't throw this event, but I love to help out. I've done my fair share of sweating at the door. I'm confused as to who officialy threw it, but I do no this. Pharmy has locked down a Friday Night, the key to the whole ball of wax, so mad props. Eli (THC) busts his ass hauling sound, throwin down sets, and sorting through chaos, Mason is all over it whith coodination, booking, and sets as well, Alan (Lifted) Hauls his sound sys out everywhere (That stuf is heavy) as does Eli now that I think of it. I design flyers, haul my lights arround, and post on our web site. And, people come out to the events, to release their stresses, have spiritual expiriences, or see people they love....... So I guess we all have our place, our function, our part, a wholesome oneness with respect to eachother. Let's raise our spirits.

Nautigroove gave me a piece of advice a few years back, which changed my perspective as a promoter and a person. Don't let them see you down, as it trickles down, and brings the people, the whole, down with you.

I think this applies as universal concept. Whether they see a DJ with a frown cause he made an error on the decks, or if the promoter is down cause a break even isn't in yelling distance, or if promoters are downing events on the web, some hurt somewhere equates hurt everywhere.

ok, so i am done ranting on this. i will be at the event for the simple reason that i love pixie to death.

You've been here long enough to have seen a lot of the trash we've had, and to see that we've been trying to clean some of it up. If someone pulls in money for an event then skates out without providing said event..or similar shady actions...we the music listening public would want to know about it. Chances are, if someone did run business that way, the locals would know it and the promoter would die off pretty quick. So far, the only facts you've offered that someone is shady is....they are uglier than you and they "are a plurred out fuck". Such an argument only makes you look foolish, and you know we don't allow personal attacks on this site. Facts are one thing, opinions are acceptable so long as they aren't attacks and they are better recieved when backed up with reasoning. I trust all of us are "done ranting on this." so we don't have to start issuing warnings.
 
Whats The Deal

I think Jimmi has the right idea. I mean no matter how long you have been throwing parties or in the scene or however cool you may think you are we all got the opportunity to play our own part in this because kids before us set aside thier differences to throw bomb events and more importantly keep a strong vibe of love, friendship, and comrodory which is probably why you still feel a connection with the scene today! As far as plurr is concerned Im shure we've ALL been there at one point or another and quite frankly ,even though the idea has been commercialized, I feel we could get alot further with this if we went a little more in that sort of direction.
Personaly I see great things in all of you, and it really kills me when we can't colaborate to get this thing off the ground again because of petty drama.

I am proud to to be a part of this scene with every single one of you and I hope you feel the same.

Sory, I didn't realize that was how it worked, but sure enough...there's my screen name. So....before I change it, Pharmy, It's $7 accross the board right?

This event will be great, I've been working alot lately and havent gotten out as much as I should. For those of you who haven't heard or Seen Pixie perform it's somthing to experience. I'm excited to hear Phantom 45 as well, believe it or not I haven't experienced such. Also, AC and Mason have realy got me fired up on many levels, and I've listened to and watched them play quite a bit of recent, very creative and inspirational sets from those two. Everywhere I look I see TFA, but every time I'm feelin it, and peeps are havin a good ol time, plus he smiles alot, and is giving 110% and you have to support that. And Lmnts, I haven't seen or heard a performance from him either, but he's out and about demonstrating an appriciated effort...again somthin new for me and I know he won't let us down. A real solid line up. Again, lots of people coming together from the venue, to coordinators, designers, and artist, and as a whole, all the people, us. Come show your suport @ club fusion as we celebrate all the hard work that has forged the foundation and cleared a path for the successes that we are blessed to have. I can't wait.... though I'm nearly 30 years old I feel like a kid again, see everyone there!

ok, i agree guys, lets all get along! wtf?!

i am so sick of the we should get along and be a happy scene bullshit. that shit went out with ecstasy a few years ago. parties are simply put about the music which is probably the only reason why i still come out to shit anymore. music should be the driving factor of why someone is involved not how much they love the ppl or how proud of the scene they are. also, i am of the belief that parties work out better when their is a single person with a complete vision to drive the event instead of a bunch of ppl coming together to throw down.....bc most of the time the parties involved are the djs, and their involvment in promotion secures them a slot taking away time from more worthwhile or new/different/novel acts.

but what the fuck do i know? each of my shows lost money, so i could be totally wrong.

like i said, much props to you guys for having the balls to throw an event, and as far as jimmi and his flakieness goes, i guess we will just have to see. who knows maybe jimmi has gotten more of his act together in the past year. at least he isnt spinning subjective house anymore.
