Oh, Everybody was gone. Him and one of the "Owners" were the only two people besides me, so he SHUT everything down.
My reply to the big pop was: " Oh, You have no idea what you just did"
So Did Kyle fix it or did they have to get new horns?
I have no idea.
But if what happened is what i think what happened (and i'm 95% sure), then new Horns would be needed. This happened once very very long ago in the infancy of Therapy, and it was not a cheap fix.
The sound and light system was left in a "set it and forget it" state for the new owner(s). All you would really have to do is NOT clip the DJ mixer and it would sound pretty damned good pretty much every time you turned it on. Plenty of headroom, lots of clean gain, very dynamic. Its not really a very complex sound system with regards to how it is set up, but it has been tuned to the room which took some time (the room is mostly cement) and literally years of tweaking. It
had a very clean sound to it, and earplugs were never necessary but it was still quite full and big. That's all been erased by incompetence now.
I'd give Pulse a hand, but honestly i have no incentive to do so. People keep asking me why i don't help out, even for $ and the truth is the new owner is still in debt to me for half of the video system and is WAY late on payment.
He's also an idiot... i mean that in the truest sense of the word, and pretty unprofessional when it comes to such matters. He burned the bridge to me some time ago.
And to those who say i am unprofessional for bringing this up publicly, i don't care. I'm out of the side of the business. It was a big 3 year pause button for my own music, and now that the finger has been lifted i don't want to go back.
Next stop is small claims court, sadly.
I hope alot of people show up for BadBoyBill, because i need to get paid.
It'll most likely sound like shit though.
I believe Jack said it best, "the sound makes you wanna duck"
