I must mention, I will be wearing my official "Jimmi Journey" custom knit pullover from "Diggs Inc. Casual". For those of you who don't know, Diggs Inc. is owned and opperated by Michael Diggs A.K.A. DJ Raphael, the brother of Tae Diggs (Yes, the one in Hollywood). All of his pieces are custom taylored and quite cozy!

Is Mike Diggs really designing clothes now?
 
OK, first off ......... Jlu will be dressing like an Indian. And I did specify that the clothing was cozy. What I didn't do .... was say that he "was" Tae Diggs.. or anything like that. What ever it is about him that has everyone so defensive, I wish it could jus vanish........... cause the man has skills, and he pulled me into the culture. He's a friend of mine..... and at a certian point..... I just wish we could make progress, progress for one is progress for all if we are truley one here. Raphael hasn't just taught me, he's taught many. I don't know bout your personal beefs with him, but I would be nice to mention him every once in awhile with out everyone commin down on him. You know? What ever, Beef.......... it's here and there..... but one place it won't be is at PILGRIMS and INDIANS NOVEMBER 27th @ Club FUSION in NAP!

...the way that is phrased, it sounds like you are promoting his clothing by saying that he is the brother of a celebrity. his brother being a celebrity has nothing to do with his clothing line, unless his brother is investing or desiging some of the clothing, and thusly had no need of being mentioned.

also, from the mutual friends we have, taye just blows mike off anyway.

so bring him up all you want, but bring up his merits, not his brothers.

Merits? Read my Bio. I see your point. Didn't mean to come off that way. For a while the whole Tae / Mike intity blur was ................ blurry.

we all know that namedropping is bullshit and that those who do it aren't really credible.

knowing or being related to someone doesnt mean shit. it doesnt make you better at anything. it doesnt make your product better. it simply makes you a handshake away from them, woo fucking hoo! now make a better product which is worth the time and money i will spend acquiring the prodcut instead of having me pay for the loose connection to a celebrity.

i guess i would just rather be known as myself versus the brother of someone famous. but if mike and bryan are cool with being known for associations instead of as individuals with real merits, then more power to them for aiming at low.

"the world needs ditch-diggers too!" but at least mike is the brother of someone with a series on the wb?! lmao

now if his brother was sporting the clothing on his show or talk shows and promoting the clothing line, then we would be having a conversation about celebrity sponsorship.
