HEATHER HEART

One of the better known techno DJs, Heather has been traveling the country promoting her diverse styles for over a decade. A key player, she has been bringing the sound and culture of electronic underground to the forefront since the early years.

Featured in such publications as Paper, Billboard, New York, XLR8R, FrontPage, Village Voice and Jane, her work has been recognized for her captivating style and contributions to the advancements of electronica. The fanzine "UNDER ONE SKY" which heather published from 91-96 created a forum for the US and global underground to meet and flourish.

Her recent appearance in the groundbreaking film "BETTER LIVING THROUGH CIRCUITRY," along with the inclusion of her music in the films soundtrack, showcased her talents to a wider audience and earned her newfound respect. "...one of the most amazing, stirring DJ's I've ever heard" quoted one fan after an incredible, dancefloor filled, spin session at Guernica, NYC.

The world renowned record shop SONIC GROOVE was born through the collaborations of Heather, Frankie Bones and Adam X, and continues to push the boundaries.

Recently concluding the SONIC GROOVE TOUR promoting the mix CD release "DEFINED" on INSTINCT records, Heather has been bringing her vibey brand of dancefloor around the nation.

SHIVA & KYLE GEIGER -TECHNO(indy)
DJ Shiva (SUBterror/Azure/Chromagnon/Internal Error) vs. Kyle Geiger(YoungLife):

A techno beatdown sure to help you dance off those unwanted holiday pounds.
Shiva will bring the damage with unreleased and upcoming vinyl releases of her own original material, meshing with Kyle's smooth techno stylings on the 1s and 2s. Go ahead with that extra slice of pie...you'll sweat it off on the dancefloor!

After a lengthy stint in the punk rock scene in her hometown of Evansville, IN,
Shiva received her first set of garage sale turntables for her birthday in 1995.
She moved to Indianapolis in 1996, and started spinning out almost every
weekend from there. With almost a decade of working the decks, along with
years of musical training and the dedication befitting an aries applied to her craft,
Shiva has become recognized as one of the best techno djs the US has to
offer. Precision, composition, and attention to detail, combined with long,
smooth mixes, effects and even some turntable trickery are the reasons
DJ Shiva has been a longtime Midwest favorite.

Throughout her stay in Indianapolis, she co-founded SUBterror, a multi-genre
dj crew dedicated to keeping music in the hands of the masses and bringing
attention to the corrupting influence of the corporate music business on
electronic music. Along with this crew of some of the midwest's best djs, she
threw a series of events focusing on underground techno, electro, house,
drum n bass and broken beat while trying to add new and diverse elements to
the stale party/club scene. Through the years, she has shared the decks with
many of techno's greats, including Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Adam X,
Heather Heart, Funk D'Void, Juan Atkins, T-1000, Alexi Delano, Oliver Ho,
Mike Dearborn and Mike Parker, as well as rocking four turntables on a regular
basis with her co-founder in SUBterror and techno's new jack producer, Adam
Jay (Azure Records, Primevil, Placktown Sounds, Zync).

During a brief stint in Philadelphia, Shiva played a part in helping to rebuild the
struggling techno scene in Philly with a successful club night called Strobe.
Playing alongside many of Philly's techno greats, including Bob Brown (Framework
Music), Nigel Richards (611) and Jamie Morris (611), she established her
signature Midwest techno sound on the East Coast, while working to develop
her own sound in the area of music production.

A special Thnxgvng Occasion, Shiva will be tag teaming with Kyle Geiger, an experience not to be missed!

NIMBUS & ILL BILL w/ TEDDY MC-BREAKS(anharbor- michigan/ll'vile)

Dj Nimbus, a.k.a. Robert Linville, hails from Detroit MI. Although he has lived in many other states, he considers MI his home. At the age of 16 he began to fall in love with electronic music. After attending his first party in Phoenix, AZ at the legendary Ice House, he has dreamed of being a dj. " I walked in and couldn't believe all these people...black, white, asian, latino...didn't matter what color you were, or where you came from.

everyone was brought together as one entity, one nation with no other apparent purpouse than to see this man get down. once he started, it seemed like the world and all of its petty bullshit melted away. everyone grooved together, no violence, no social classifications, no inhibitions. nothing but the most profound music which i had ever heard.
After several years of being a fan of the music, he was finally presented with the opportunity to learn how to dj. At the age of 19, nimbus and his best friend Ted Morrow, a.k.a. Teddy MC, met they're boy Danny MacIntyre and began to teach themselves how to mix.

ILL BiLL Blowin up the breakz sence around the louisville area. With his Funky/Nuschool style.. THe Dirty bass lines inspired my Dj Fixx combined with the funk from Icey, Rick West, Malicious Mike and many more makeing this Boy unstopable.. Bill has played at many clubs and bars around the area including @tmoshere, Main Streat Louge, Salsa Club, and more.. He has also played Both DeepBlue's major events WICKED and PRESSURE...and Bill played a party in Evensville IN at Hammer heads. For someone that is somewhat new to the scene he is all ready growing a major fan base around the area. and when Joined Forces with DJ Nimbus and Teddy MC Be ready!!! cause your about to see all Hell Break loose!!!

Teddy MC is also a talented DJ. Buying his 1st pair of turntables when he was 16 by saving money from his part time job, he fell in love with electronic music. Spinning the only 2 trance records he had together over and over until he learned how to match beats, he was determined to figure out this phenomenon he did not yet understand. He had just then met DJ Nimbus, and they helped each other get their start in the djing game buying records and keeping their collections together in 1 milk crate. They eventually found different styles of music they liked and now keep their records separate, but they are still great friends and are known to do a tag set on the decks together every now and again. Playing mostly only house parties for friends, Teddy doesn’t really try to push himself as a DJ because rhyming is his forte. Not to mention he keeps the company of some of the finest selectors in the Midwest. He spins hip hop and booty to get the ladies shakin’ on the dance floor on a Friday or Saturday night.

BRIAN NECKEL w/ NASTY NATE-HARD/MINIMAL/TECHNO=live pa/dex(ll'ville)

Born and raised in a small southeastern suburb (313) of Detroit Michigan, Brian Neckel spent his youth recording on cassette late night sessions of the now famous DJs Electrifying Mojo and "The Wizard" (aka Jeff Mills). Influenced by Detroit radio station WJLB's late night sessions and later by the Canadian radio station 89X's underground Transmissions series, Brian has molded and shaped his own style off of his personal experiences in the electronic music nightmare known as Detroit. In his own words:
"Placing the music I create into words has always been a challenge of sorts. Selecting multiple instruments and polymorphing them into a continuous creation is an art form that few EDM creationists will attempt live. Most resort to vinyl. I'm trying to reintroduce something to a new generation of EDM listeners. My whole youth was shaped by the Detroit techno scene. My music style was shaped by the masters during the original halcyon days of the live PA set. When I was 15 every Friday and every Saturday, the whole city (Detroit) was just exploding with parties. I'm trying to rekindle a lost art form in my new home (Louisville) away from home."

Originally from Ann Arbor, MI, Nathan Power (aka Nasty Nate) became interested in promoting through his friends, who were helping stoke up the scene at the time in Detroit (the time being 3 or 4 years ago). Influenced by the enormous Detroit/Canadian techno scene (Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Kenny Larkin, Surgeon), Nate began learning to DJ in 2002, though it was more of a hobby. After being involved (on the sidelines) with organizing many functions in the Detroit area, as well being a person with ideas of his own about how to throw a good party, Nate decided one day that he wanted to start his own company and take a stab at promoting himself. He got that opportunity when he moved to Louisville, KY, where he now resides. He founded Deep Blue Productions in the early summer of 2003, and after a short while managed to orchestrate a regular club night above the Los Aztecas restaurant on Main Street. These events, called In.Ter.Fuse Fridays, helped to showcase a variety of local DJing talent from the Louisville and Indiana areas, including DJ Shiva, Free Agent, Mischief, the Lady Foursqare, Biggs, and others.
