i love attending events like this and getting all of the chatter in my ear about how ppl miss Broke(n) and Indy actually having headlining acts, but it makes me wonder where the fuck everyone was for the better part of the last year I ran Tuesdays or where they are when I host parties now.

the remnants of Indy's "rave scene" seem to feel way too entitled in my eyes. Entitled to play, entitled to better timeslots, entitled to better headliners, entitled to there little place in the sun. until you are willing to step up and do something for Indy or any city like Gary, Turtle, etc., shut the fuck up and be happy that you get to enjoy anything at all.

and for anyone that ever said anything about not having enough changeup in my lineups at the Mel, no single dj ever played more than once a month; now you get the same ppl playing just about every week.

watch out for my new monthly in Fountain Square @ the Vollrath, an old whorehouse, called "I Like to Party" featuring electro, Bmore, glitch, and dubstep.

From the pictures up on their myspace it looks like a cool little bar....is the sound system going to be able to actually handle the dubstep and sound clean? Because that would rock.

ok, when i ran and monkey powered tuesday nights, monkey was the only person that ever really got to play more than once a month.

all of the flyers are still up if someone wants to correct me. if someone got to play more than once in a month, it was because of a special show.

My brother mostly took pictures of people that he knows... although I did steal the camera for a minute and go on a drunken picture-taking rampage :)
