impressive color change on DMT reagent tests

I did some reagent testing on some DMT. At first I thought it was just something very dirty, and not even DMT:

But then about 30 min later:

Lesson learned: wait a while!

reactions take place at different speeds, and DMT can look anywhere from a goo to clear shards of crystal to powder that is pure white.

You mean which of the above? All of it, apparently, as the reagents have shown. I didn't believe it at first, but then the colors became exactly as they should be, according to http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=512598
