Importing of 1,4 Butanediol into Australia?

I was thinking of cleaning some circuitboards which I want to sell to some secondhand stores, and I have been recommended to purchase 1,4 Butanediol to do this job.
I'm pretty sure this could of been answered semi-recently, but is it legal to import this product? I will delete this post after I have checked it, once it has a sufficient answer!
