Just wondering if its okay to import benzos (or xanax) into australia for personal use. Anyone have experience with it and are customs okay with it? thanks.

Sorry brother, this is against the guidelines and has been answered in other threads and posts before. Basically, it is illegal unless you have arranged it with your doctor and it has been approved under the Special Access Scheme.
As for importing them illegally, sometimes they get through and sometimes they don't. It depends on quantity, packaging and even the individual officer's discretion. Odds are you might get a love letter from Customs or have them discuss the issue with you in person depending on how large an amount you try to import.

^ is it legal to import a scheduled substance without a prescription and are customs okay with it? HELL NO. This doesn't mean people don't get away with it though and small amounts if intercepted may only warrant the benzos being confiscated and you receiving a customs love letter. That or you could find yourself in a bit of strife. Couldn't hurt to contact customs and actually ask them what the requirements are?
