Importance of body weight to 2C-B dose

I have two questions, one has been asked many times, the other I have not been able to find an answer to.

The unknown first- I weigh almost nothing, male 5'9 (175.25 cm) tall and 117 lbs. (53 kg) hydrophobic substances tend to distribute in the brain, as it is very fatty, rather than in the blood. (DMT is a prime example of this) Perhaps a person who weighs 170 lbs and takes a 1 mg/kg dose of something might experience much larger of an effect than a person who weighs 120 and takes the same 1 mg/kg dose because that larger total dose is not distributed equally in the body, but is disproportionately present in the brain, which is generally the same mass for everyone.

A confounding factor may be that someone of a more fatty build might experience less of an effect because the hydrophobic substance may be sequestered in their larger body mass fraction of fat.

Does anyone have any input into the universality of mg/kg doses across individuals of differing body weights?

And the easy question, given a low body mass, what would be an appropriate starting dose of 2C-B, I was thinking of 20 mg. I have had 20 mg of 2C-I and 2C-E on separate occasions, both were quite controllable, although I feel like 25 of either of them in a slightly less controlled environment could have been unsettling.

Oh wow I posted that without rereading the subject line. Although technically correct, I need to learn how to use synonyms. "effects of weight on potency"

I am not sure about this, but I think that drugs like 2C-B depend more on the receptor distribution in your nervous system and your personal biochemical and metabolic makeup than your body weight. Even if there is a correlation between body weight and dose (and thus the use of a mg/kg number) I think other factors are just more significant - overruling this correlation.

It wouldn't hurt to be safe rather than sorry and start lower than other people when you try 2C-B but other than that I think the normal rules apply to you.

Haha :) effects of weight on potency is not accurate either because the potency of the compound itself does not change because 2C-B is 2C-B.

Let me think about it and change the title for you.

Thanks for the subject change. I was concerned because while reading the erowid reports there seems to be a lot of overlap between the doses that do nothing for some and the doses that end up in the train wrecks section for others. I would say I am am quite good at keeping my composure during a trip, 4.5 g mushrooms and harmala extract caused me no problems, and 20 mg of 2C-I in a music venue was fine as well, of course atypical reactions can never be ruled out.

Mushrooms and harmala blew my mind, by comparison 2C-B is so much more forgiving and gentle... I don't weigh *that* much more than you and react more or less normally to psychedelics in terms of dosage. Even if dosage were dependent on body weight I don't think that if you would not adjust your dose thinking of that the difference would be significant enough to make you freak out.
Maybe don't jump into the deep end with 30 mg, no that is not smart. 10-15 should be fine though. You can consider taking something like 2 mg a few days before that to check for such atypical reactions.

I don't think body weight matters much. Regardless of whether you're 150 or 300lbs your brain will be about the same size...
