impact of LSD on 80's/ 90's rave.

Fuckin' top avatar mate! Shelleys? Wasn't in Warrington by any chance was it?

Thanks. Yep, Gong must be my all time fave band and Camembert is a mythical, magical album :)

Yep, Shelley's was in Warrington. I never went there, but a group of my mates did. Came back absolutely wasted and always met us wherever we were tripping. Dem were der daze! :)

Aar, I thought as much.. I used to go Shelleys wasted on smack, watching all the E'd up babes strutting their stuff (didn't get into 'E' myself until much later).

Shelleys was most definitely in Stoke, Longton to be exact. Not sure where you get Warrington from:?

Did a comment about how football went through a peaceful stage trigger a 2 page argument about football? :P

I also can't work out who is winding up who regarding safrole but I did nearly spit tea over my keyboard in response to some of the comments about changing the synths.

was speaking to an old raver at a club the other night and I asked why people did lots of acid in the early 90's but not shrooms, even though shrooms were legal then. He just said that shrooms were too floory/ nauseating and that acid was much more energetic, euphoric and a bit easier to handle, making it much more suitable for raves.
