Imovane / Lunestal LD50 (generic : Zopicone)

Hello :)

I have a box of Imovane 7,5 and I would like to know the LD50 of this ?
Couldn't find it on google.

Why do you need the LD50?

Don't take more than 1 or 2. Otherwise you'll probably black out and do something fucking stupid. I took 4 then went to work the next day -- got fired for telling some old woman I worked with that she needed a good fucking, as well as many other groggy obscenities. I only know this because several people told me afterwards.

There's no real fun in abusing zopiclone. If you're looking to potentiate opioids then a half is more than enough without tolerance. Don't take it with alcohol either or you'll fall asleep in a toilet or assault someone or something.

Very weird potent chemical this one. Err caution.
 
Well the first one I took I was high for a time then a total blackout.
But I have much tolerance to it. Last time I took 5 of it and had crazy closed eye hallucinations.

I didn't know it could potentiate opioids. I also have to try Xanax and grapefruit, but I take also Paxil and I'm not sure about Paxil + Grapefruit.

The LD50 is a generally useless piece of information when it comes to actually dosing a substance. This is a fairly rough number, but a dose of 150mg or more is typically considered fatal (although I want to emphasize that death could occur at a significantly lower dosage, ESPECIALLY if combined with other drugs.)

Wow. I thought it would be higher, being benzo-like and all. I've taken 225mg and just passed out. Good to know.
 
^ To the above posters that's fucking gross I can't imagine the taste in my mouth in the morning. When I take just one pill that taste always get's to me.

It becomes much more mild and tolerable over time, kind of like the psychoactive effects. Honestly, I don't think I'd notice nickel mouth if I took 30 zops again... I'd be a bit too groggy :\
 
225mg !! gadzooks!

I've never expereinced this nickel mout that every one mentions.
Is this something particular to Imovane, or rather to the racemic zopiclone as opposed to Lunesta (S-Zopiclone) ?

I've taken upwards of 9mg Lunesta which equates to 18-20mg of zopiclone, in combination with other benzos. (the Doc recommended max dose for Lunesta is 3mg)

So i'd say its fairly safe if you are staying in the double digit range of rosage, but the higher you go the more chances of problems occuring I guess.
