Immune to Hallucinogens?

i have been thinking lately and realized that every time i have hallucinated that it was from either lack of sleep, benadryl, or trazodone. i have tried many hallucinogenic drugs and has gotten little to any results. i have gotten a small buzz from a quarter oz of shrooms and a deffinate high from pcp along with dxm but that's it. I once took 4 hits of real double dose acid and got no effect at all. i haven't got to try DMT yet so not sure if that would effect me. But anyways swim has never had a hallucinogenic trip off of any of these fore mentioned drugs. i have used almoast all sorts of pills and different uppers and downers along with many plants and herbs heavily on and off for about 6 years now.

And i am prescribed a whole slew of anti deppressants and such. i also practically impervious to any effects from benzos such as Xanax and such from the very first time i have tried them. i took 40mgs of xanax and got zero effects except for some long term memory loss and some slight anxiety relief. And marijuana gives me a sort of speed buzz no matter what strain it is. And speed gives me a very mellow calm buzz with a tweek.

Drugs effect me in extremely weird ways as you can tell. i once had a insane tolerance to hydrocodone and morphine and methadone and the like if that means anything. Are there any other bluelighters out there who have a similar situation to me? Or does some one know if i has some odd condition that i dont know about?

Your slew of antidepressants will certainly contain an SSRI (like Prozac or Zoloft or Citalopram) that will severely diminish the effects of any classical psychedelics (like LSD or mushrooms or DMT). Welcome to BL, you don't have to use SWIM.

SSRI's. Case closed pretty much. I would also recommend you don't go ahead eating shitloads of mushrooms and acid if you ever happen to go off the SSRI's either.

SSRI's and anti-psychotics will prevent tripping.

Not sure exactly the reason why SSRI's do, but anti-psychotics antagonize 5HT, D and AcH receptors that inhibit the effects of classical psychedelics. (Salvia and Dissociative Psychedelics should still work, but not sure if there are any other contraindictions).

If anyone knows more about the pharmacodynamics of SRRIs, my current impression is they inhibit the transporters, but not sure if that's correct.
