Ok so i made 10 subutex pills last me almost 3 weeks and ran out about a week ago, i was doing leftover subutex cotton for 4 days until it was just pointless to try anymore.

Then i got my hands on 30 oxycodone 10mg with acetaminophen, i took 3 this morning and didnt really feel much, so i took five on my lunch break and had a little energy buzz while working and a few itches i think but nothing serious.

So i just popped 6 more and hopefully im not gonna die from acetaminophen overdose or whatever. Ok let me also add that i was totally clean before all of this.

How many milligrams of acetaminophen did you consume in total?

Seek immediate medical help if you experience any of the following within the next twelve or so hours*:

"Abdominal pain
Appetite loss
Coma
Convulsions
Diarrhea
Irritability
Jaundice
Nausea
Sweating
Upset stomach
Vomiting"

*Info. gathered from here.

I think it gets serious around like 3 - 4g total of acetaminophen. If you're below that, I'm guessing you'll be fine, but I'm no doctor so thats no guarantee.

oops i think im at 4,550 mg, everything is cool tho. this was over a 12 hours span if that helps, there were 325mg in each pill.

Be careful, as acetaminophen poisoning takes WEEKS, it is possible that you are in danger but haven't felt any signs of it yet. I would recommend you google up on it (look up 'acetaminophen toxicity' and 'acetaminophen overdose'). Also, if you feel anything suspicious in the coming week(s), strongly consider seeing a doctor. Better safe than sorry, acetaminophen poisoning is one of the nastiest & slowest ways to die from a drug, its not pretty.

yeah thats scary, well im def not taking anymore. Also because im getting subutex tomorrow and i wanna be able to do some when i get it

Your acetaminophen OD threshold is lowered if you drink large amounts of alcohol(not just concurrently!) or use other drugs in large amounts that process through the liver(nearly everything, right?).
I experienced liver pain and slight yellowing of skin after taking tylenol for two days and had consumed just 2g(this is well below recommended therapeutic dose/hr).
In my opinion tylenol may help some, but i think it is more the result of market flooding through greedy Pharm companies who own the status quo as well.
Take ibuprofen for pain, or cycle through different pseudo-painkillers for maximized harm and pain reduction.

short term, idk--maybe stomach pump/try to evacuate any more APAP.
Long term is liver recovery; i.e. laying off things that put a load on the liver, vitamins and supplement intake like milk thistle, etc.

If you have a serious reaction, you should consider medical help. I did not go to the doctor for my mild OD though (Shit i was under recommended dose which was alarming)

Home solution for mild OD would be: lay off any chemical using the liver to metabolize; take multivitamins; drink fluids (water and 100% fruit juices[not grapefruit!!]); eat a balanced and healthy diet--outdo the food pyramid here; look up supplements in the vein of milk thistle.

Don't take APAP again for a long while, ibuprofen works better anyways. And do the CWE's...

So basicly if you end up having bad OD of APAP its basicly end of your liver and waiting to get a transplant will be long as you have ruined it by taking too many drugs by your own choice which end you in the bottom of the list. So its basicly a death sentence.

If so I then dont think anymore being too cautious with APAP as Zyprexa eleveted my liver levels and they had to even do a biopsy.

like I said, I didn't go to the hospital for mine. I mad a surmisal and passed on what i did to take care of my Od mild as it was.

i can't verify what you seem to have construed from my statements,
though the message remains the same--take care of one's liver!!

im a casual opiate user, but i am friends with quite a few opiate addicts. u got to stay away from acetaminophen as much as you can. you may want to look into cold water extraction techniques, or buy pills that have no tylenol in them (dilaudid, roxy/oxy, morphine sulfate, or even dope if you got a clean source.

You took 4.5 grams of apap over the corse of 12 hrs. The max safe dose is 4 grams a day. You didnt take much more than the safe dose and only did it once. Dont worry you will be fine. Do a cwe next time.

Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is bad for your liver. Very bad. You aren't supposed to take more than 4000 mg in a 24 hour period. Since you're question has been answered I am going to close this thread.

But you could've used search function, to find what you were looking for. There are many threads about acetaminophen all over BL.
