I'm unable to access BL gifs, smilies, etc.

This has happened once before. All icons in the message area are faded out, and cannot be clicked on.


I'd appreciate a little help in correcting this issue. Thanks.

I have a very similar issue, possibly the same one although I'm not sure - I always use a VPN but when I'm connected to a UK server, I can't see a bunch of emojis, they appear as tiny icons which if I try to enlarge them show "this image is not available in your region"... connecting to a Polish server fixes it, haven't tried every single country but I'd imagine it might be a similar problem, some of the images are hosted somewhere doing some annoying geoblocking of certain locations, for whatever reason. So if you have access to a VPN maybe try that and see if anything changes... actually I have the same thing with some of the banners and graphics in various places on the site, sorry I'm thinking now this maybe isn't the exact same issue, but maybe it's similar.

Because Imgur is blocked here (UK) some header images are blank but if you use a VPN it’s fine.

At the top right hand side of the post editor you will see two brackets like this: [ ]

This is the toggle that will turn the Icons on or off. You should be able to turn on your icons by clicking it once. If you click it again it should turn it off again.
