Hi, I'm drug free.

But a lot of my friends have been doing drugs for a long time now.
And I'm thinking about trying it, just one time to see what it is like.

They say it is cool, some say i will have fun, that it isnt dangerous at all, that is not important neither harmfull.

What do you think?

Salutations Paxous,

...I'm drug free. ... What do you think?

Since you've defined yourself in terms of prison/freedom imagery i'd recommend you stay away from it knowing all too well that cannabis isn't suitable for everyone anyway, especially children. So i say focus on your needs today and let others manage with their own faiths...

=D

If you have to ask the internet, you probably aren't ready. I didn't try smoking weed until I had 2 years of basic drug knowledge under my belt (Google and Erowid were my best friends)

Once you feel comfortable enough and you aren't hesitant when trying it, that's when you should try it.

[EDIT] I just read that you want to combine LSD and 25i, but you're drug free? lol'd

Don't do it because others think you should.... Only do it if is truly you decision.

If you're 20-21, Maybe try weed, the real stuff. If you never want to smoke anything, look up how to make a potent tincture and do TINY drops, slowly. Or get a cheap vaporizer and do .01-.02g amounts. I started smoking weed when I was 17, I probably should have waited two years or so.

I think that cannabis is dangerous because it's not seen as dangerous. For some people, the high is extremely enjoyable to the point where they neglect other priorities and possibly even waste a lot of time and potential in life for a high that, while intrinsically rewarding, may stunt your progress toward accomplishments that would bring you a true sense of satisfaction in life. Where you are in life and your overarching mindstate factors heavily into whether or not you're susceptible to that risk.

Thujone is very correct. Cannabis is an abusable drug as well as valuable medicine. It's not right for everyone

The BEST ADVICE IS TO LEARN AND KEEP LEARNING AND NEVER EVER STOP LEARNING ABOUT CANNABIS THE EFFECTS OF IT AND EVERYTHING ABOUT IT FROM THC to Cancer Prevention. Even when you think you know enough about it and couldn't possibly find out more your Wrong and you will..... Just because you think and Believe we are Living in the Golden Age Currently Right Now Does Not Mean We Are sooo REMEMBER THAT FOR the Rest Of your Life.

It depends on how old you are. If you're under 16 wait a few more years. Smoke actual cannabis not the research chemical blends like spice/JWH/K2 etc., and don't overdo it or go crazy the first few times. Just smoke a hit or a few and relax.

Keep in mind that cannabis is not for everyone. I enjoyed it when I used it but now I don't use it or anything at all. I have friends who prefer other drugs to it, and some tried cannabis a few times and are mainly just into drinking alcohol or using other drugs instead as they found cannabis to be boring, or not fun for them.

I read in your other post about how you take LSD and research chemicals. You may find cannabis to be boring compared to those drugs.

I wouldnt do it if I were you. Nothing like a perfectly functional sober mind. Id love to have one of those again :(

How true that is. I wish I could go back in time and never have started using drugs or alcohol. Even when I go through a few months of sobriety, I still feel dumbed down, and incredibly stupid, and I always end up going back to drugs because I cant find enjoyment in sober living anymore. A lot of people on these boards encourage drug use, and I feel it's because they're still in the honeymoon phase of their drugs... Well, I've lost the glory for weed, acid, shrooms, noids, mdma, amphetamines, and pretty much any other drug, due to rampant multiple times a day, every day abuse. Opiates and benzos are the only thing that make me feel nice these days and I don't even feel high when I use them, just calm and chill.

don't use man. If you're asking this question, you really dont wanna go down this road. Eventually the honeymoon ends and the divorce starts.

Cannabis isn't something you should have to go online to find an answer for, that being said I am a 1000% enthusiast of cannabis, I do not believe it to be a drug. I believe it to be an herb, that has been used through out history for not only recreational use but for medicinal as well. Look at the world around you, medical movement is happening all around us. It has been proven that our brains are created with special receptors that are specifically built for THC, not to mention even the less psychoactive strains they are coming out with now for people who want the medicinal qualities w/o the "high". Cannabis is a power plant, the plant itself is 100% useable from leaf to stalk. That being said, weed is not for everyone, but it is also not something you should allow idiotic friends, or even anyone on a forum tell you to or not to do. Educate yourself, not with government propaganda. Look into it and find out for yourself if it is something you are willing to try or maybe its just not for you. I personally smoke to help with my chronic back pain, migraine and panic disorder, not to mention it helped me out of some major depression. Making the choice to do any substance should not be gone about like this.

Educate yourself, or ask questions to educate yourself, not whether other people think you should or not. No choice you ever make should be based on anyone else's opinion but your own... I hope that you can find the answer your looking for within yourself. XOXO

Sounds like most of you are all anti-cannabis ppl. Weed has many plus and downsides.
First depends on ur age. Studies have shown that habitual smoking before early 20s can impact brain development. If your over that age, u are okay. Just remember weed now days is strong. Especially in Cali. So pace urself slow. The effects of too much THC are panic attacks.
Weed is safer than any other drug out there, hands down.

Yes 20's and brain development and so on, all correct. Though the effects of too much THC is not ALWAYS panic attacks. It all depends on the person, and has less to do with the levels of THC in their body and more to do with the amount of paranoia one gets whilst smoking, which is a common feeling to get when you feel like your doing something wrong. That being said let me make it clear that I am not stating that THC causes paranoia. It does not, it has to do with an individuals predisposition for anxiety and paranoia.

No offense, but that "weed is not a drug, it's an herb" argument is stupid.

I believe morphine, codeine, 7-MOM-, and thebaine are not drugs, they are medicine from a flower. This is more true than cannabis actually, as the pods of a poppy can be harvested and made into opium far easier than you can grow cannabis. You sound like a typical stoner who has not yet seen the downsides of weed.

I smoked hash at 3.5 grams a day for 6 straight years. No matter how long I spend sober, my brain is fried. because I was brainwashed by people telling me that it could do no harm, and I believed them. I've spent years sober, only to still feel perma-fried. So seriously, have fun with your honeymoon with weed. Eventually, if you are a daily smoker that is, the fun will go away.

Now you sound ignorant i am sorry to say, :/ Do you have any idea how you make hash? and no you can not extract what you need from a poppy pod easier then you can grow weed. It takes as much effort to grow that poppy plant as it does to grow a cannabis plant. Have you ever seen the extraction process of making any of those things into what they are. Cocaine comes from a plant - just like weed- that you don't need to drown in chemicals to get its effects. I am more educated on this subject then some stoner, I am proud to call myself a stoner because I actually know the science behind what I am talking about I have. I majored in Biological Chemistry. So please take your ignorance else where. :)

P.S. The Harm that weed does to your brain is 99.eh% from you killing your brain cells while holding your breath, also you already stated that you were smoking almost 4 grams of hash a day... not only is that no longer a natural weed plant(cause you are now smoking chemicals) But that is also and unholy amount. So please do not blame weed for your ignorance in harming your own body and now your stupidity on the subject because of the harm you did to yourself. Your argument is like say I didn't shoot that little kid the gun just shot him itself!

AND just in case anyone doesn't already know this, considering you just admitted to your ignorance on the topic, you do anything out of moderation and it is going to have effects on you entire body chemistry, and the way it works in sync with your brain. Just to prove my point a little bit more, we need water to survive, correct? W/O it we would whither away and die, but if you drink to much water in one day you can cause so much stress on your body that your cells literally burst, because you have drown them... Moderation is the key to survival. An intelligible survival that is.

Are you kidding me, opium is incredibly easy to make. Poppy plants grow in incredibly harsh, dry conditions, they are hardy plants, easy to grow, and upon harvesting the flower, you scratch the pod, causing the latex to come out. Pods are usually 3% morphine by weight, so if you have a 10 gram pod, you have 300mg of morphine in that pod.

If you dont want to scratch the pod to leak the morphine latex, you can also just make a tea out of it, although yields drop from 3% down to about .5%. And no, the harm from weed is not from holding your breath, there are studies that prove that weed permanently alters the way the brain works, especially in those under the age of 25.

The fact that you dont understand that morphine literally is right inside the poppy flower, and actually compared it to coke (whose extraction from the coca leaf is a far more complicated process), shows me that you are the ignorant one here.
