You see i have been dropped from treatment 4 times & left for dead & once i swear that i would of sucked the Doctor off if he had asked .

He didn't ask btw .

I would of at the time . Until you know what it's like to have all your script taken off you when your on the counter payments down the social everyday n all that shiz then you don't know hardship .

Bit like gaz Hmms thread but without politics & with real input .

I may even tell some stories later8o

This is the kind of answer that i expect if we are going to be honest.

Imagine if you were on a 7 year Methadone script 70ml aday & 12 years benzo's . You would do it in a heart beat . Good to see you mate not been around for a while hope your doing ok .
 
feel ya pain bro. i have been on tamazepam for 12 years and they think stopping the script is detox treatment -no taper. been on and off subs as of xmas as keep getting fucked over so dealing with that as well. only given 5 dirty tests in over 10 years of script so i dont understand why they are trying to kill me. was going to rehab but funding was lost but apparently i am fit to work. drug services suck and its going to get worse.
 
Hell yes. I absolutely would. A minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. Methadone withdrawal sucks as we all know. Benzo withdrawal sucks worse (argueably) so those 2 combined. I think a jaw ache and a reduction of dignity is a very small price to pay.
 
This isn't going to be popular but, in my opinion, when you're prepared to suck a dick (unless you're into that kind of thing for fun anyway) for drugs then it's time to stop taking drugs.

If it was a life or death thing (eg high dose benzo script getting stopped) then you'd just go see another doctor & grass that one in.

Surely no doctor is going to stop a benzo script that could be potentially fatal? Unless they're dodgy & actually shouting for blowjobs, in which case - see another doctor & explain why.

Is it fatal to cold turkey from methadone? As far as I know it isn't from smack (otherwise there wouldn't be people doing it all the time) so I'd take the cluck over the dick.
 
No question aboiut it - id be on my knees in a jiffy- in a very easier task a dealer i knew would make me walk 20mins there and back to get his S Brew in the morning however sick i was - id leave with him cooking up his hit and id often stop aong the way to puke in the road. If your sick or facing the worse WD's imaginable there is very little i wouldnt have done

I couldn't imagine being so hooked on something, that I'd sell my body to get it. The thought of succumbing to such an act, through being so dependant on something, makes me shudder.

I agree to some extent - but in my case, it'd be one of those things I'd look back on after the event and realise then that this bullshit's gone too far. But if I had to degrade myself to prevent a terrifying short term future, in which I'd end up losing my job and all manner of shittier things would happen - my god the consequences are horrific - It'd have to be done.
As for potential deaths from C/T - it's rare, but not unheard of. It is normally when a subject has underlying health issues. Cerebral Haemorrage is responsible for a fair few deaths of patients that have abstained from full agonist opiates.

I agree people should calm the fuck down, and people have. Or seem to have. acieed_ed? And you're right pontifex, i possibly could have done more about it to start with, but I dont think anyone wants EADD to be a heavily censored forum where people don't feel they can speak their minds.

I've already PM'd brimz about this thread, and if he wants all the arguing gone, it'll be gone, but I'm not removing crackheads post which seemed to rile people up so much, as there's nothing wrong with it. It's a post whcih if anything could have led to some intelligent discussion about it.

I might remove a lot of the dross now anyway on second thoughts, as it seems to have stopped spouting forth.

if anyone is unhappy that I've removed a post, pm me or something. They're not permanently deleted and can be restored if anyone really wants them to be and has a good reason for it.

I've removed posts from acieed_ed, backroll, crackhead, and myself.....also a couple of other innocent posts, one by SHM, that wasn't insulting or abusive or inflammatory, but just made no sense once the offensive posts had been removed..
