Saddening news to know!
A LOSS to an ADD, surely!
The end of mod's active role would be a definite loss to any forum, and it would especially be so, if the forum has only a few mods doing the job at the time. And if the forum is active, like the ADD is, and has only few mods, there is/should be a special reason for the arrangement. And there surely is a very good reason why The ADD of The Bluelight has only two mods before the loss: both of those mods are very special sorts of mods.
It would be hard to avoid a drastic consequence which the leaving easily causes! The end of moderatorness activities could easily affect and lower the quality of the discourse & the atmosphere here, 'cause he is such a big part to the Forum! All depends, of course, on many things which could lessen the negative force: how much extra work the other mod (F&B) is willing to do to fill the void?, and how busy, will Vecktor be, in "real life"?, ie. how much spare time would there be, in the future?, and could Vecktor care to use some "Quality Time", or, would there even be some of "The Time to Rest and Recovery" left over, to use for posting here regardless the Decision? Wasn't the stepping down, in the first place, if I got that right, a rationale for, or a result from, being too busy and having too little spare time to be a mod here...
But I'm hoping that the stepping down would not progress to the total absence of Vecktor. Because that would be too much. At least something of the whole pure essentia and the substantial effect of moderator Vector should be conserved to ADD Forum for the sake of general quality. I will try to recrystallize essential crystals and then define their pharmacology in the following text.
I don't know exactly how to recrystallize now and neither how to define, but I have a plenty of words. Only top quality ones should be used for the purposes; from quantitities of good quality words, I'll choose just a few by weighting accurately, by measuring definitely and by finally pouring all measured carefully to the absolute text. Should not leak a drop, nor lose a single crystal, and the final mix of letters contains all and only those which wanted and chosen; everything is expressed or done in the words or within a wordlike medium; and pure crystals are, the recrystallized essentia, the most meaningful meaning which lurks inside the Vector's moderatorness in general (the essential is a crystal form appearancing on that recrystallized with the help of words and in a word-like medium). Neither do I know exactly the substantial effect, or how to find out those, could only proceed exactly. The substantial effect is the pharmacologically desired effects of moderator Vecktor or, in other words: those desired effects to this forum which Vecktor could have on a community (body) of this forum; and the effects are in the best way instantiated only when Vector is acting as a moderator! And substantial effects are pharmacologally desired of the effects of Moderator Vecktor to the community.
But, how the hell could I recrystallize the essential, crystal of Vector's as moderator? And how in the earth, could I know the substantial effects or the pharmacology in the community? Only because I'm so wired, I could choose to do the things in questions; and just because I'm so loony, I will show you how I proceed:
Esssential meaning (pure crystal appearance)
(Your) Vecktor's work as a moderator of ADD was/is simply great & competently productive time, and was/is based on the wide variety of the knowledge involved chemistry and pharmacology. The modest modness of Vecktor promised me & resulted, in the first place, a state of affairs such that ADD Forum had continuous, steady supply of enlightening & knowlegeable input from the endless, productive source, known as moderator Vecktor. (And the input is/was learnable being real knowledge; facts were/are enough cultivated, having valid structures; structured facst and theories are/were reliable; structures are/were recycleable, or the way better, potentially structurable, breakable and restructurable in a new and more complex ways; and all the knowledge is/was presented by Vector, openly without the limit, and it is/was potentially reuseable when learned). Thus: Steady source of the most knowledgeable input when a mod.
Substantial effects(pharmacally desired)
Vecktor's modness resulted, in the second place, likewise as in the first one, a state of affairs that there was an almost timeless presence of the more precious than gold "database" of the widest extension of theoretical & practical knowledge, the best way described as the wisdom wealth, coming from a moderator, Vector, and that presence (whether it was the concrete presence of a mod Vector online, or either the presence of data in innumerable posts of a mod Vecktor, or the both of those) IT created, built & instantiated the very essence of the whole atmosphere to ADD Forum, potentially applicable and readily applied in posts there; all those things possible just because of Vecktor's active role in ADD Forum. All of that is simply missed by me and by many people similar in character & attitude with me, if that stepping down ends also the knowledgeable, informative posts and all posting little by little from the source mostly known as ADD mod and relied as a steady and firm supply of true enlightening. Rather wouldn't care know such an event as inevitable. The ending of the one principal presence, the very essential thing to whole ADD forum; that event should not happen, there should be some sort of continuity to the essential quality...
Oh Boy why, but
Oh boy, why each good, uplifting story has to always end as well as some painful stories which are just meant to end, only hoped to end the sooner. Some stories and ways to process reality should not end, because they are a way too enlightening and teaching to end; they shall go on and Remain. Hopefully Vecktor will not be too busy to drop at least some summing posts in the future.
I could not help but always feel the way I feel now, when too good stories end; they shouldn't end, and in the one special sense they don't and won’t. I will tell you something about that sense and them in one day.
