I have schizophrenia and use dissociatives. I'm on the combo right now in some brain on backwards territory. Feel free to ask questions. I'm the president bitch.

^^^ pardon my ignorance of schizophrenia, but what are these 'positive symptoms' you speak of?

Very interesting! Do you mind if I ask you a few questions?

1. As the poster above me just asked, are you a clinically diagnosed schizophrenic?
2. If so, how long have you been diagnosed as schizophrenic?
3. Do you currently take any medications for your condition? If so, what are they? Dosages, etc.
4. If you take meds, do you feel like they are helping?
5. Are you able to take tryptamines, phenethylamines, etc? Or just dissociatives?
6. Which dissociative is your favorite?
7. How would you describe high dose disso's (K, MXE) in the context of schizophrenia?

I know that's a ton of questions, but I'm very curious. Stay well :)

how was the development of your schizophrenia? if you did drugs before, do you think that they pushed you in that direction?

happy trails

I've been diagnosed with schizophrenia for 13 years (since i waa a teenager) i take abilify neurontin seroquel suboxone. The meds take away a lot kinda help though. I prefer phenelethylmines and tryptamines, dissociatives either make me feel like a kingpin with superpowers or like I'm being punished for all the sins in the history of the universe the ultimate in persecution and i start crying. My favorite is pcp every time i get on them i go nuts. Stopping again after tonight.

Seroquel is an antipsychotic. As far as I know it's a serotoninergic/dopaminergic antagonist. If you have an antipsychotic prescription, it's because you have psychotic/schizophrenic symptoms.

Most psychedelics are serotoninergic agonists, the theory is that seroquel will block the effect of the psychedelics. You are consuming two drugs doing the opposite pharmacologic action...

And what's more important, if you have psychotic symptoms, you should never consume any dissociatives or psychedelics (including cannabis). They are both very able to induce problems on people predisposed to it or already having a schizophrenic/bipolar disorder.

As far as I know, dissociatives are even more dangerous than psychedelics in your situation. But you should stay away from both.

Take care and consider your personal situation, please. <3 Otherwise you are going to potentially damage yourself and make your life worst. I am sure you want to feel better on your day-to-day, stop consuming psychedelics/dissociatives because it just is going to get it worst.

Careful, I worked in the involuntary treatment court and dissos (esp PCP) + schizophrenia lands a LOT of people in the hosptial or jail or far worse.

Actually positive symptims are delusions, voices and hallunations while the the negative syptoms usually consist of depression and complete lack of motivation. I can't imagine nmda antagonists could be beneficiall to psychosis unless positive symptoms are light or ignorable. The most debilitating part of schitzophrenia is the depreasion and and lack of motivation for normal activities. How come research for human consciousness is not a priority. Oh yeah extremely addictive anti-psychotics which have such amazingly efficiency it's odd the amount of suicides while mexicated.

Except for the sickening depression that you face as these medications make you even more unmotivated and cause plently of chronic health issues high cholesterol, diabetes with no family history, fat gain. And ontop of it all they have a terrible stigma as if someone who suffers disorganised speech is capable of premeditated murder. I hope it my life time an actual cure will be available.

To me schizophrenia seems like an unregulated/uncontrollable sensitivity ti what *else*is going on besides what we perceive as reality.

Being able to interact at will/with control that "other would be beneficial. Instead of trying yo understand people with this type of stuff, we drug n work like a good slave.

Aren't there multiple references to cultures having schizo type people train with whatever shamanesque type person they had?

^ true schizos anctually imagein shit as being real that is totally impossible. Technically christianity should be classified as schzo but thats another thread.

its a real disease, or defect or whatever. maybe other cultures thought it was special and the person should be a shaman. but ppl that have it in modern society are actually disabled in a way, drugging them is all we can do. same as any other disease.

Methoxetamine binges cure my schizophrenia for a while

your depression or schizo? seems like mxe high is the absolute definition of being schizo. it lets someone feel what being a schizo is actually like.

but if your naturalluy shizio and you take mxe who knows what happens excpet you....not judgeing just wondering, because its opposite to everything i know.

mxe sure as fuck cures depression for a while. seeps to me like it would just exacerbate manic schizoness

mxe != schizo

ok I've seen some stupid posts but this takes the cake. Maybe 3-MeO-PCP if your dosing irresponsibly, but still.

Schizo is the realm of delirients, not dissociatives.

Good discussion though ! Food for thought.

I really don't think you can experience schizophrenia from a recreational drug experience. Maybe some similarities, but that's about it. Withdrawal from APs can be schizo-mimicking but mimicking is the key word there. To this day, schizophrenia is poorly understood is a VERY complex illness involoving many monoamine transmitters. Even among people that share that diagnoses, people will experience it differently. Psychotic features covers many mental illnesses and there is a lot more to schizophrenia than psychosis.
