I'm not sure I can recommend doing combos until you've actually tried something first. I recommend just setting aside a full day, stay at home with music that you really love and that is very familiar to you, be in comfortable and familiar surroundings, and then split your tab up with a hobby knife and take a little, wait for it to kick in, see how you feel in an hour or two, and take a bit more if you don't feel like it's enough.
Caution is good. Paranoia is bad. The more nervous or anxious or scared you are of taking it the more likely you will have a bad trip. If you set your intention to have the best trip of your life and that it is going to set itself apart from all other trips you've ever had and you get into that emotion then you won't have a bad trip.
I did 19 tabs over the course of six weeks and only had one bad trip. It was a bad trip because I got hit with a nasty computer virus earlier that day and the anxiety from it turned into paranoia that the electronics in my house suddenly became self-aware and that "skynet" was after me. It may sound silly but it was actually a traumatic experience.
My point is that set and setting are *everything* with LSD. If you are angry or anxious or scared or frustrated or whatever don't take it; it is not molly or alcohol or mephedrone or coke or something that will snap you out of it and make you feel better; you absolutely cannot use it for escapism. You can use it for problem-solving though.
