Opioids Im on all kinds of pain killers

Im on 4 different painkillers morphine e.r. percocets10/325 dulodid 4mg and demerol 50mg. I have 4 herniated discs in my back, and i ran out of my morphine a couple weeks ago and started having cold chills and sweating. Is this cause my body was withdawing?
 
Well if you are normally taking a steady dose of 4 different medications daily, and then suddenly switch to only taking 3, than your overall opiate level is going to decrease. So feeling minor withdrawals is certainly a possibility. This is the same thing that happens when you are tapering down when attempting to get off of pills. So either figure outa way to get your morphine re-filled, compensate with another of your scripts, or just stick it out. Your body should get used to it after a few days.
 
You are certainly feeling the effects of withdraw. Especially since your on all sorts of different painkillers. A rule of thumb depending on how much your taking (or if your taking more then your supposed to) make sure when your coming close to the bottom of your pill bottle to cut the few remaining pills in half. Honestly I would rather feel a little pain, then to face withdraw. So like I said, cut a few pills in half so you can stop the withdraw until you can get your prescription refilled.

It is possible, but we can't be certain. Maybe there are other factors involved.

It is typical to feel that when decreasing medications, so I think this has been adequately answered. Since leaving it open would just lead to speculation, I am going to go ahead and close this thread.
