I had a bunch of DXM pills that contained 10 mg DXM, 5 mg phenylephrine and 325 mg acetaminophen each, since the dxm is the only substance that is insoluble in water, this I figure that the pwder that settles at the bottom would probably alot safer to consume, the it concern I have run into, is that he was under the impression that dxm tasted awful, as does acetaminophen, but when tasting the powder after it had dried, it tasted of almost nothing. Like flour, any input would be greatly appreciated

Please do not cross post on many forums, it's considered spamming. Just about everyone in here is going to tell you the same as I did in NMI: the powder you've obtained is mostly paracetamol/acetaminophen, possibly containing also inert fillers (talc) from the pills. DXM is not water insoluble when it's in salt form like hydrobromide. Freebase DXM is another matter. Also, there's no easy way to separate the phenylephrine from DXM, and phenylephrine is also toxic in large doses.
