I do not understand how to post an image on a thread. I see that there is an "Insert Image" button, I click on it, & it brings up a URL I'm supposed to put in there. All of my images are in my "Pictures" Folder on my computer, not on a website somewhere!

Does everyone store their photos on a website? If so, WHY???? I am stumped here. So I am supposed to find a website & download photos that have already been downloaded to post them here? Surely there is an easier way to do this.

HELP. I am aggravated. :?

I just upload them to photobucket and copy the link from there and paste it here and the pic shows up

I got the app on my iphone, they got one for android to.

you need to host your images on a website, BL does not do that for you. you can use imageshack, photobucket or flickr to name a few.

As the others have said, yes, you have to store it on an image-hosting website to share it here.

Not everyone stores their photos on websites. I store the ones I wish to share on a website (used to use photobucket.com but haven't used one in awhile tbh) because it's far easier than e-mailing the photo to everyone I wish to share it with as that's really the only other way to share photos that aren't stored on a website. :-/

It's "upload", FYI. ;) But yeah, you either have to upload the images to an image-hosting website to post them here, or e-mail them to everyone you wish to share them with. BL used to host your images iirc, but that was discontinued due to the space it used.

If you're used to phpBB, then they have the option to host the image on the forum server. You can't do that here, so as others have said, if you just upload to a host (I think imgur.com is the easiest) then copy the BBCode that starts with

Thanks for the replies.

In the past if I wanted to share my photos, I've done it on Facebook- so I've never needed an image hosting website before.

Guess I'll try imgur.com. Thanks again.

^ Or, right click on the photo that is on Facebook (which acts as an image-hosting site since it is well, hosting the image on its site), and click "Copy Image Location." Then type [img]put the copied URL here without any spaces[/img].
