i'm the new gerL on the block .. representing the candeeness all the way from south florida .. i'm more of a journalist than a poet, but here's a meaningless piece i just penned in between loads of laundry ..

you feel that you are
trying to pass by
to fall from some star
to need to feel
like one of them
so much yet unreal
inadequacy stems
meaningless words
plastic
and paper
why do you feel as though all are in favor?

but here's a meaningless piece i just penned in between loads of laundry .. thats what u wrote as your intro, i dont think it was meaningless to you babe dont be afraid to let out your feelings here cos we all share one thing - plur. and i also feel (sorry for being so candid)that u wrote that it was meaningless to protect yourself from feeling pain if others didnt think it was good enough or deep enough......well i do think its good and deep because its something from your heart.......... so dont let me hear ya putting ur words down again ya hear.....

I'm pretty new here at the bluelight and I wanted to say Hello. I liked your poem and they were your feelings so you shouldn't think it's stupid at all. I'm not the poetic type so I don't have much to say on that note. But I do know a French Proverb:
