I'm going to be what God set me out to be

if Jesus isn’t real why are you ppl getting offended?

Who the fuck is talking about Jesus? I'm quite willing to believe he existed, but he ain't god. Yeh, he was a bit of a cocky cunt with a superiority complex and what would be diagnosed as a personality disorder if he was alive now, but he was a human. NOT a fuckin god.

Wrong. Jesus is everything that God is. God is inside of Jesus. When people saw Jesus walking on water, they actually saw God walking on water. When God sent his son Jesus to Earth, the Holy Spirit was inside of Him.
So Jesus was God essentially.

It wasn't even worth responding to your post. You're obviously just being a dick.

Do me a fuckin favour...

And no, I'm not being a dick. Just take those blinkers off your eyes for five minutes please, and you'll.realise that you are indeed, The Dick.

  • we existed before we came to earth
  • we all lived with God as spirits before we were born
  • the creation of earth is a part of it.
'I am God. I made the world, and men before they were in the flesh.' - Moses 6:51

God created all things . . . . . . . . spiritually.
BEFORE they were upon the earth.
god the architect
jesus the builder
What Bible does Moses have a book named after him in?, I know he wrote the first 5 books of the Bible, but I didn't know he had a book named after him..

I left religion years ago but had an awakening that made me rethink everything. I returned to a church near me and despite having few things in common I participate in any event where people are being helped or something good is being done. I'm not offended by their beliefs but some of them are offended by my presence.

It took me some time to realize 90% of the religious people were desperate and seeking peace. Religions are man made but I have no issue with belief in God. I have no issue with understanding God is love. I have no issue understanding unconditional love and unconditional forgiveness.

I only ever have an issue with the belief that I know what your life should be lived like. Because I'm not you, you need to find your own understanding and you should always follow the simple scripture that says "study to show yourself approved a worker that needs no condemnation, correctly dividing the word of truth."

The bible says perfect love casts out all fear and I can understand this from my human love for people who have hurt me repeatedly but still I love them and they have nothing to fear from me, despite my love not being perfect. How much more would God's love remove fear from me? Yet hear I am in a thread being told I must fear God and follow a set of human designed conditions.

Jesus preached a story we call the gospel but when you ask a Christian about it they say it's about his death and resurrection, he was preaching for 3 years before he died (if the story is real), what was he preaching that got him killed? What was the gospel message that isn't about death and resurrection? It seems to be not included in the writing.

The bible is one of man's attempts to put a story together that explains us and our existence and give us a purpose. Sadly if you look at religions the purpose seems to be ignore reality and lay blame on anyone who disagrees.

Jesus didn't hang out with the religious people at all, they killed him out of fear. I don't think they understood God very well 2000 years ago and perhaps they were just as self assured then as they are today.

It woul also seem that the greater parts of writings are speculative, bruv. just don't get boxed in.
all one has to do is read between the lines, juggle all the "facts" and observe ones surroundings. well... it is a hard row to hoe. gotta get dirty and swim with the salmons.
IMO everything has a seed of "truth" but twisted to a nefarious end.
I do think we complicate matters unnecessarily and may even get lost in the madness.
Stay away from captain howdy

Right, can all you Jesus freaks just consider this scenario:

Some guy with an overinflated ego bursts onto the world stage tomorrow claiming to be the son of god. You lot would be the first to condemn him as a heretic and send him to the the pits of hell, even though you do nothing but bang on about the second coming!

How the hell would anyone convince you that the 'son of God' has arisen again?

Jesus hung out with the heartbroken, the downtrodden, the prostitutes, any one who society usually rejects. The "religious" people didn't like Jesus hanging out with people like that. You're right, they didn't understand God at all. God loves all people.

The Pharisees brought a woman who had 5 husbands and committed adultery to Jesus, thinking she would be punished by law. Their belief was in the law. They didn't believe in God's grace. Jesus was deaf to the woman's accusers.

Jesus said "Cast the first stone, but only he who has not sinned.", they were convicted of their own mind and went away.
Only Jesus and the woman were left. All the accusers gone.
She could have left with her sin and shame. She could have went out continuing to do worldly things, but she stayed instead of joining the rest. She didn't want to leave.
There was light of life. No more darkness.

Jesus asked if anyone is condemning her now. The woman said "No one, Lord." Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more!"

That's a perfect example of God's love and grace. The "religious" types were going by law and the 10 commandments. That no longer applied when Jesus was sent.

Isn't that just an example of a human being showing compassion for other human beings? It's actually quite common. It's got fuck all to do with God.

Ok. So you're not in control of your life. Fuckin brilliant excuse for doing fucked up shit. It's like the Catholic confession bollocks.. I've raped a kid but I've confessed so it's ok. FFS...

That Catholic kiddie fiddler stuff makes me sick. I don't know...it's messed up.

There's some kind of old Jewish tradition where the rabbi bites the extra skin off the penis of the baby in order to circumcise it. Many babies ended up with herpes. That shit should be banned. I don't care if it's tradition.
