I'm also very curious about chemistry and psychoactive chemicals but unfortunately chemistry is quite complex, it takes heavy studies to understand it all. I'm still in the beginnings of learning and have to accept that I probably will never be able to synth my own drugs (if not for lack of knowledge then lack of access to chemicals/precursors). Even here in Mexico chemicals are tightly regulated, one had to go to some Asian of African(?) countries to source them. Also bluelight doesn't allow synth discussion, either for safety or legal concerns (don't know which one) but talk about extractions is allowed. There are quite some interesting ethnobotanicals which deserve more attention and of which an extract could yield interesting results.

I have a Chem degree, but don't work in the field. I just love reading about other people's experiences.
