I'm bigbeautyblonde, and I'm new here... But not new to drugs.

Hey guys I'm new around here. I'm a long time (very long time) lurker and haw a lot of my own experiences to share so I figured it was time to go ahead and make my own account. My DOC is heroin, but I am in a suboxone Partial Hospitalization Program to hopefully stay sober this time for good. I've done every kind of drug there is in my past, and it start with me being perscribed oxymorphone and roxycodone at 12 years old for my spine. I've loved opiates ever since. It's been a love hate relationship, as many of you are probably aware of how opiates can control your life if you start that young, but today I'm trying to deal with the nerve damage and chronic pain as best I can. That doesn't mean I can't live vicariously through you guys because I'm a professional when it comes down to breaking down any kind of pill for any kind of use hopefully I'll eventually be able to help y'all too when I get the site figured out better...

If anyone could please comment and help give me some pointers about the site, I would greatly appreciate it. If anyone knows where I should post about or find threads that you think would be the most to my liking base on my last paragraph, please let me know

Jesus, roxy at 12? No wonder you got addicted.
You just don't have the self control and good judgment you need to handle opiate use at that age.

Glad you're on your way to recovery. As an opiate user myself I know how hard it is to resist the urges!

Anyway, I suggest you check out Other Drugs for serious discussion of harm reduction, opioids, stimulants etc. and also Drug Culture for lighthearted topics regarding drug use (How High are you, what did you use this week etc.) without much focus on Harm Reduction (which of course should never be ignored!).

Another one that should be helpful to you is Sober Living, lots of kind people ready to support you there.

welcome to the site. I'm in the process of kicking aswell. day 3 of cold turkey I got some suboxone strips. was told they would make it easier. I like the link the above poster about sober living. I didn't start opiates at 12 but I had a marijuana and alcohol problem at that age so I understand how hard it is to be yourself without drugs
