Hi all,
I'm a 43 year old man who has just come back to using drugs, after an absence of close to 20 years. I used to take speed and weed on a very regular basis, but just fell out of the scene. Now I find this is opening up a lot of questions I thought dead and buried, and reinvigorating this new phase of my life - middle age.
This all came about because recently a friend confided in me that he regularly gets a fair amount of smoke and asked if I wanted any. He gets large amounts but doesn't make any profit on it, so funnily enough it's way way cheaper for me now, at a time I could afford it far more readily! Go figure?. Right now I partake every month to two months, a lot less than when I was younger, but for some reason the high is far more intense and personal than it ever was. It is also less anxiety filled, which is due in part to less being consumed but also to me being more confident about who I am and what I want.
In addition to this, I have also experimented with ecstasy and have found my personal drug of choice (which unfortunately I have lost my contact all too soon). This drug is amazing, and for the life of me cannot understand why it isn't legal.
still I am enjoying this new aspect of middle age, and funnily enough it is helping me reexamine a lot of my beliefs and positions on life. I keen to hear more stories from others and look forward to my time on this site.
all the best
