What's happenin' fellow bluelighters? Some of you will probably remember me as an other drugs mod up until ~January, when I abruptly disappeared. I'll spare the details, but I had Sherriff's warrants and the boys in blue finally caught up with me and I spent the last five months locked up. I just got out yesterday, the 24th. Boy it's a glorious feeling stepping back onto the bricks.

I haven't done dope/coke in five months and I'll have to say it feels good. Benzos/heroin/crack got me in too much trouble. I'm just going to stick to the booze, occasional joint, and the soma/tramadol I'm prescribed.

It feels great to be back ! =D

welcome back!! i'm glad to know that you're okay and feeling good to be off that stuff!! it sucks that you got nabbed, but i'm sure it could have been worse.

Thanks, bud. It certainly could have been A LOT worse.. I beat the most serious charge and consolidated some shit I had from multiple counties so I got off pretty light considering, I suppose. I'm supposed to go to an inpatient program, though, which hopefully I can find some place soon because I have no home as of now. My mom is letting me crash at her apartment for a few days until I find a place, but nothing permanent.

Time to do the right thing I guess, I'm tired of all the bullshit.
 
good luck on finding a program. you definitely have a second chance here and i'm glad you're seeing that instead of just going back. it shows a lot courage. do you know what you're going to do after rehab yet?
 
Just my humble opinion, but just sticking to booze and this and that never seems to work for we addicts. Best is to get and stay totally clean, says the guy having a drink or two to take the edge off while tapering down from a serious poppy pod habit. Hope it goes well for you and sorry to hear you got swept for that shit while the people who stole billions on Wall St are walking around like a bunch of gleeful puppies with silver spoons falling out of their mouths. I digress. Stay safe, whatever you do.
