it's so unhealthy. I am so psychologically addicted to adderall. I count the days till I can get it refilled, and I even dream about having some sometimes, which is really fucked up in my opinion.

shit, just wanted to throw that out there

Best thing to do is find some activity, like sports or something very interesting to take your mind of it. It can be very hard as after taking it for to long nothing is interesting cept taking this drug.
Also good advice to go on holidays or somewhere away from this drug.

the thing is I have a lot of activities, but whenever I do them, like play basketball or something, I just think wow I could be playing so much better if I just took some adderall or playing videogames damn id be pwning so many more nubs if I had some adderall or this would be so much more fun with some adderall

I have dreams about finding giant bottles of vicodin and other opiates, I understand the feeling....although I've never had dreams about adderall or other amphetamines.

What dosage are you usually taking? How much are you scripted? There are many options you have if you want to either stop taking adderall completely or slowly taper your dosage down so you can use your script wisely and not have to worry about when it is going to be refilled next. Welcome to BlueLight, there are lots and lots of people on this board who are users of amphetamines and can certainly help you out!

I wouldn't go so far as to say that you're addicted, yet. But it sounds to me like we were once in the same boat. I recently kicked my own Adderall dependency, and it was by far the toughest thing that I have ever done in my life.

I still have the empty prescription bottle here next to me, but honestly, I don't want to have my prescription refilled. It makes me sick to think about it. I am 5'9" and I have always been thin, but I dropped 15 - 20 pounds from my healthy weight of 135 pounds. I was skin and bones, really.

Life without Adderall will feel strange at first, but it does warm up to you eventually. You will have to pick a good time to do it, and then do it. For me, I ran out of my prescription mid-semester, and I decided then that I would have to man up, get my work done without amphetamines, and then never touch them again. I am on winter break now, and I have all the time in the world to sleep and eat, and it feels pretty amazing.

To be honest, the unanswered questions are what still bothers me. Am I really ADD? Is that why the Adderall was so effective? Am I less intelligent now than before when I took Adderall? Have I caused any brain damage? Have I brought ADD upon myself by abusing a medication to treat ADD?

Who knows? But my best advice to you is to do it, just do it; finish your prescription and swear not to have it refilled. The sooner you can do it, the better, and you will thank yourself for it months from now when you gain back all of the weight you've lost and the clicking in your jaw starts to go away.

Please read the OD posting standards thread. This is really better suited to your BL Blog or the dark side forum. Check those out and if you have any questions about what is or is not suited for OD, feel free to PM me.
