Illl thought out lyrics.

That's one that you'd love to bring out at parties but can't, I'll bet. ;)

Sometime in the spring I was tripping with a friend and we were at a loss as to what music to put on. He went through his iPod and ended up stopping at Live And Dangerous, tetatively asking whether we should put it on.

"Fuck yeah, it's LIVE and DANGEROUS." Said in a hushed, reverent tone.

Moronic on paper, profound at the time.

"Verse-chorus, verse-chorus, a solo, then boom."

awesome song though- not linking the official video cos of annoying ads but its qute funny if you cba. but wilhelm scream lyrics generally make no sense, i think they're assuming no ones listening to lyrics because they're so blown away by the fact that their guitarists are about as good as its physically possible to be on guitar (not just my opinion by the way....- possibly better example, pity the bass is pretty well mixed out and more nonsensical lyrics).

"You look so good I'll suck yo daddy's dick" - Notorious B.I.G

Priceless. :D

Now I'm singing all my songs to the girl who stole my heart
She's only three years old ad it's a real fine way to start
- Robert Plant

Maybe it's just me...

Another tenuous Philo connection, his dealer, the one who done time for supplying him in his last days, used to live around the corner from me, I was friendly with his little brother, they were a prominent local business family.

I think as they were carrying Phil to the car he was asking Big Charlie one of the roadies to leave some money under a flowerpot for that dealer. His mother asked what was happening and apparantly that was the first time she realised Phil was on heroin and had been jacking up in the veins in his feet.

When Phil was dying in hospital he said to his mother "I'm sorry Ma...what have I done to you".

Aye, the flowerpot thing is what got him nicked, when he got out he was back home bold as brass limping around shoot the crows and the bearcat.

Emerald for me is his greatest moment, that bass line! Lynott shares the most desirable accolade there is as the ultimate rock and roll front man with the late great Bon Scott,

Shakira - Whenever, Wherever:
"Lucky my breasts are small and humble so you don't confuse them with mountains."

Hmmm. Doubt it love

Taken from the Des'ree 'classic', 'Life'

I don't want to see a ghost,
It's the sight that i fear most,
I'd rather have a piece of toast,
And watch the evening news

(?)

Damn why didn't I think of that one!

Any song that uses the word 'alone' and 'on the phone' in the same sentence

Word, Big L the motherfucking Devil's Son is definitely in effect
Giving a shout out to all the murderers, thieves, armed robbers Serial killers, phychos, lunatics, crackheads, mental patients Mental retards, and a special shoutout to all the niggas with AIDS, peace.

R.I.P Big L

I wouldn't put that in "Ill thought out lyrics". He was deliberately trying to be as offensive as possible on that Devil's Son track.
