Illegal & Prescription Drugs You Take...WHY?!

^youre from florida i thought you would have the same stuff haha.

whats up with all the pain pills. what happened to all you people?
 
well here in FL if you go through the proper channels with insurance and respectable doctors its the same as anywhere else but if you go to the doctors who have ads in the paper saying "free visit for first time patients, when medicine filled on site" then you usually get something like 180 Roxi 30mgs, 120 Xanax 2mgs, and 90 Soma 350mgs per month, and its cash only/fill your scripts at certain pharmacies or on site at the office. Or go to a "weight loss clinic" in Tampa and they'll throw you on a high dose of either Adderall IR or Desoxyn....I can't believe how many people have scripts for blues and bars, but people never usually have Restoril or Dormicum scripts

Adderal-prescribed, but very rarely taken for ADHD or for anything for that matter

Weed- for everything, basically use it as my day to day ADHD remedy and only take the Amps when i have important stuff/lots of important stuff to do

Opes- depression, anxiety and i guess i also just feel like they are an everything helper like weed

Benzos- usually for sleep, sometimes for anxiety

thats mostly the only drugs i take but i do take others sometimes
 
legally rx'd

Klonopin, for anxiety and depression
Ambien, for insomnia

illegally

Suboxone, because pods got too expensive and subs are now cheaper and more available. I hate withdrawals, I'd rather have stayed on the pods but the fucking things have disappeared recently.

D-amphetamine, mainly to focus and get things done but sometimes I find myself enjoying it quite a bit. To me it's smoother than coffee, coffee gives me more anxiety than dexedrine.

Opiates are the only drugs I find recreational, everything else is used to alleviate anxiety/depression issues. I think the main reason I love opiates is because it's the one drug that relieves all of my symptoms and makes me euphoric and motivated at the same time.

If I somehow found a way to get rid of all my depression and anxiety problems without using drugs I would still be very drawn to opiates mentally, if it weren't for that damn addiction side effect I'd consider it the perfect drug.
 
I want to know why ppl are getting precribed not only several different benzos & opiates but in somewhat recreational doses. & why drs think its safe to precribe Ambian & benzos at the same time.
example:

Valium 20mg a day as needed
Klonopin 2mg a day as needed
Roxicodone 15mg every 4 hours
Fent patch 25mcg every 3 days
Vitamin B12 injected once a month
Soma every 4-6 hours as needed

How do ppl even get regular scrips for Tylenol #4?
I suffer from pain, anxiety & insomnia.
Wish I could just walk into the drs & say. Hey I suffer from pain can i get some fentanyl & oxycodone!
BTW a few mg of clonazepam should chill me out & ambien should help me sleep. I'll let u know if I need anything else

I'm confused :\

Would be good if ppl could also include the actual reasons why they get opiates besides "they're for pain"

Since you used my list. I didn't just walk into a dr's office and get all that.. The benzos are from my psychiatrist who I have been seeing for over 2 years. I had a horrid case of panic disorder.. just recently came off of Xanax.

As for the pain medication I am in pain management. I am 30 I have multiple bulging discs, herniated discs, discs collapsing on eachother, degenerative disc disease, osteoathritis and fibromyalgia. My medication was in no way "easy" to get. You have to go with the flow... I didn't even want fentanyl.. but I have it now. I will be in pain for the rest of my life. Maybe you should take a proactive role about your medical treatment and you would be able to get medication you want.

Alprazolam (Xanax) - 0.25mg | 3x a day (Panic Disorder)
Bupropion (Wellbutrin XL) - 300mg | 1x a day (Depression)
Methadone (Methadose) - 200mg | 1x a day (Opiate Addiction)
Clonidine (Catapres) - 0.1mg | 1x a day as needed (Methadone Side Effects)
Dimenhydrinate (Gravol) - 50mg | 1x a day as needed (Nausea)
Flurazepam (Dalmane) - 30mg | 1x a day as needed (Insomnia)

Recreational:

Caffeine (Daily)
Ephedrine (Rarely)
Nicotine (Rarely)
MDMA (Very Rarely)
Oxycodone (Percocet, OxyContin) (Rarely)
Codeine (Tylenol 1, 3, 4) (Rarely)
 
Rx'd:
#120 15mg oxycodone/month for pain ( also to quench my addiction, or at least make it less miserable *do have pain, though),
#60 1mg clonazepam for anxiety/panic attacks/to help me sleep (after an rx of temazepam, xanax - back to clonaz-just because I like it for the reason that it actually 'WORKS' best, not the most 'fun' by any means)
#60 30mg adderall IR --> #120 5mg Desoxyn (methamphetamine, generic name, by Mylan). I take this for adult ADHD/ADD, mild depression (for THAT it works like a charm ). Never used desoxyn before, but I'm excited to try.

Illegally? Once I've abused my adhd meds to death, and I'm out (happens mid month) I buy whatever the hell I can get. I haven't had an upper for 2 days and I'm dying :| - my OC intake has increased as a result, as has my benzo intake. Also, if I run into some dillies - of course I'm one to partake. No weed, no hallucinogenics for me.
--I have but do not 'take' many more unmentioned substances. They are my 'just in case' supply: morphine sulfate (old prescription), temazepam (obtained otherwise), methadone, suboxone, percocets (old script as well), and lots of tramadol (in case for some reason I REALLY run out of opiates and want to die-I'll take these).

Wow, you take 200mg of methadone! When I was on MMT the highest dose I went to was 130mg.

Side note: I've noticed that most people have prescription drugs under drugs of abuse/recreational prevalently more than Schedule I drugs.
 
^ Yea unfortunately I do take 200mg daily and I'm not too happy about it. Never thought I'd be taking this much methadone. My biggest concern right now is withdrawals but my methadone doctor keeps on telling me to not worry because if I want to go off of it they will slowly taper me, and also over here MMT is free (at least in my situation).

Yeah well before I moved to Florida my Illegal Drugs would have looked like this: Heroin
MDMA
LSD
Cocaine/Crack
Then i came down to Pill Mill Florida and it now looks like this
Oxycodone
Xanax
Soma
Adderall
Klonopin
Dilaudid
...lol its funny but illicit drugs do seem like they are getting replaced by cheap pharmaceuticals, whihc I for on am not too happy about, that is until I can pick up LSD, MDMA, and Heroin at my local CVS=D
 
There was a News special a couple days ago about how many pain clinics are in Florida and how easy it is was to obtain prescribed narcotics and benzos. They went up to people when they left the clinic and asked if they could tell them what they got prescribed. Everyone had a script for at least one opiate. Someone left with four scripts (Lortab, Xanax, OxyContin, Soma). Then they asked street druggies and what prescription drugs they used and one guy had such ugly hardcore black track marks on his entire arms from shooting Roxicodone. He didn't even filter the coating off. They were showing all the licenses on the cars at the clinics and SO many were from other states.

Before going onto Suboxone I should have taken a week vacation to Florida and visit a different pain clinic a day. I was never aware of how easy it was to get scripts down in Florida until a couple years ago. Damn...

well its really only certain parts of Florida namely Broward County (Ft. Lauderdale) and Hillsborough County (Tampa), other parts have pill mills but not like theses two....I mean hired security guards, lines out the door, filling scripts in office, dirty needles scattering the parking lots, DEA raids...it really is almost like a quasi-legal version of the Baltimore Heroin trade as depicted in "The Wire" lol the police shut one down and two more pop up under a different name somewhere close by

My friends boyfriend went to one... he said it was the most jacked up shit he had ever seen in his life.. Junkies there in their pajamas and shit... He has a legit problem with his back and no insurance.. so he went to get more medication for his money... he said there were people just waiting there jonesing for a fix... lol and that one of the places he went to got raided while he was there which is why he had to go to a different one... fucked up shit.
