Illegal & Prescription Drugs You Take...WHY?!

Simple question. Probably asked before but what the hell...

What prescription drugs do you take and WHY?

What drugs do you take without a prescription or illegal drugs do you take and for what reasons? Pain...depression...anxiety...boredom...because your friends do...simple recreation...other?

I'm just curious
 
I take all my drugs, obtained illicitly except for a few quasi-legals, for recreation and sometimes to deal with the effects of other drugs I have taken (e.g. benzos to deal with a stimulant comedown).
 
Prescription- Wellbutrin XL 300mg for depression, Restoril 30mg for sleep, Norco 5/325mg for pain.

Illegally Obtained- Roxicodone 30mg for depression and pain (both physical and mental), Xanax 2mg to take the edge of off life, relieve stress and to relax.
 
xanax oxy are the prescrips obtained illegaly reason to get high i also like herion the best some coke and weed lsd extacy
 
All my daily drugs are scripted to me for pain issues. Of course if getting "high" is part of the deal, then what can I say/do?!? I get a blood pressure med also. The pain meds are real simple; oxycodone and tramadol. The bp med is called HCZT, I believe. It is a diurectic. Btw, I do get all my tramadol from online pharmacies, and since it is not a scheduled med I will call my source legal.
 
Rx-ed meds:

150mg Luvox, in the morning (for OCD and mild depression)

1mg Klonopin, four times a day as needed (for anxiety and panic attacks)
--On a longer acting benzo to better control the recurrence of my anxiety due to my OCD.
 
Prescribed:

  • 100-200mg's Seroquel (for severe insomnia)
  • 19mg's Valium (for benzo dependence - currently tapering down)
  • 5-10mg's Haldol (taken when needed for methamphetamine psychosis)
  • 6mg's Progynova (hormone replacement therapy)
  • 50mg's Siterone (hormone replacement therapy)
  • 5-20mg's Stemetil (taken when needed for nausea)
  • 10-40mg's Metamide (taken when needed for nausea)

I was also on 150mg's Wellbutrin for depression until recently - it was no longer working.

Can't be bothered listing the illegal drugs I do. They vary.
 
I am Rx'd the following:

Ambien - sleep
Tramadol - pain, mild anti depressant
OxyContin - pain
Ativan - anxiety
Promethazine - allergies
Vyvanse - ADHD

Not Rx'd:

Weed
Ecstasy

I do not abuse any of the medications that are prescribed to me and I really only use them if I have to. I consume MJ and E maybe only a couple times a year but that is as far as I will go with the street drugs.
 
Prescribed-

Temazepam: Anxiety/Insomnia/Very rare recreational use.
Ativan: Anxiety.
Tylenol 4: Pain (when needed), and Recreational use.

Illegal-

Weed (Daily).
Ecstasy (Every month or two).
 
Diamorphine ( or other strong opioids ) - dependency, boredom, anxiety

benzodiazepines - Anxiety, dependency

Psychedelics - insight , fun

seroquel - sleep

propranolol - Anxiety
 
Oh, I forgot about myself

Prescribed:

600mg Lyrica - Fibromyalgia
20mg Valium - Benzodiazepine taper
60mg Adderall - ADHD
50mg Seroquel - Insomnia
4mg Suboxone - Opioid maintenance

Without prescription:

Ketamine - pure recreation/see life through another perspective
Ecstasy - pure recreation
Marijuana - anxiety/recreation
Soma - pain/relaxation
...list any hallucinogenic, used for recreation.
 
Scripted :

Valium 20mg a day as needed
Klonopin 2mg a day as needed
Roxicodone 15mg every 4 hours
Fent patch 25mcg every 3 days
Vitamin B12 injected once a month
Soma every 4-6 hours as needed

Recreational
I do partake in my Oxy for recreational purposes
Also sometimes I get into my valium
Smoke weed
Hydromorphone
Ecstasy (rarely)
Shrooms (rarely)
 
Abilify - borderline condition
Zopiclone - sleep disorder
Methadone - opiate maintenance

No illegal drugs.
 
Prescribed:

Klonopin- 2mg's/day- anxiety/recreation-chill out
Temazepam- 30mg's- insomnia/recreation
Suboxone- 12mg's(only actually take ~2mg's)- opiate maintanence/ euphoric buzz
Propranolol- 60mg's/day- "tremulousness"(rarely ever take this actually)

Illegally: (when im not getting drug tested for my PO)

Marijuana- (chronic/exotics or schwag)- feel good/chill/get high/duh
Opiates- (heroin, oxy, etc...)- to feel amazingly euphoric
Stimulants(rarely)- (adderall, meth)- as long as i have some benzos for the come down
Psychadelics- (LSD, shrooms)- if i want to have a positive life changing experience
NO ALCOHOL

I know E was scripted as one point, but could you imagine if it still was lol! Just think of the oxy epidemic right now; if E was scripted people would be going mad lol. Although, IMO, it is one of the easiest illegal drugs to find in the tri-state area right now.

Insomina/Recreation - Ambien 20-25mg

Illegal (recently, but not current)
Anxiety/Recreation/Insomnia - Weed 2-5g
Recreation - Nitrous 10-20 chargers
Recreation/Depression/Anxiety - Hydromorphone 4-8mg
Recreation/Depression/Anxiety - Morphine 150mg
Recreation/Depression/Anxiety - Heroin .5g
Recreation/Depression/Anxiety - Oxycontin 40-80mg
Recreation/Endurance/Anxiety - Lyrica 800mg
Recreation - Soma 1.5g
Anxiety/Recreation - Ativan 1mg
Anxiety/Recreation - Valium 5mg
Anxiety/Insominia - Klonopin 4mg
(I was prescribed the Kpin .5mg/night, but clearly I was abusing it)
 
I'm surprised as many people are scripted Temazepam, IME I've always been the only one I knew who was scripted 30mgs of Restoril, most people have never even heard of it....also I'm curious how some of you are prescribed either multiple benzos for sleep AND anxiety or those that are prescribed both amphetamines and benzos.

Just a question but are those who I just described going to legit doctors or pill mills and quacks? Just wondering because any legit doctor/psychiatrist I've seen wouldn't Rx uppers and downers or multiple benzos. Maybe its just my luck tho, who knows?
