Has anyone read the book:
Illegal Drugs: A Complete Guide to Their History, Chemistry, Use and Abuse
by Paul M. Gahlinger ?
It looked interesting, and pretty 'complete'. I was thinking of buying it, can anyone who's read it recommend\not recommend it please?
http://www.sagebrushpress.com/drugbook.html
has an ecstasy chapter excert and TOC excert.

could you please suggest one? I couldn't figure out which, I thought social but then no drug talk in social? :)

It looks like your usual and typical drug book written by someone that has little to no experience with illegal drugs.. .. I am sure the chemistry section is a bunch of garbage - hell, they offer a "sample" chapter on MDMA and within the first few pages they are propagating myths about it ..
Then we can see whats instore from the Table of Contents that features such zingers as: "Did medieval witches use LSD?" or "Which drugs are used in date rape?" and a personal favorite: "What loopholes do drug dealers exploit to legally import drugs?" ..
Hey, I might be wrong, there might be some really worthwhile information within there but I think you could find out everything you could want to know online .. sites like Bluelight, DanceSafe, Erowid, and the others will give a more complete account then this book would...
