I'll Use The Stars to Light My Way
Lost in a mystery
March on to the eulogy
in an unblemished dark
As dark as a hearts secrets,
regrets, dreams and nightmares
Blastbeating to the drum's pulse
of the crashing Son so-
I'll Use The Stars to Light My Way.
Night obeys this plea for the luminous,
humourus in flinging jewels,
singing, across the Great Nowhere.
I'll go there and hear,
the Chaldean iconoclast's
weep and bemoon this sacrifice
ov the Son to pin the sun in Her
fixed circuit around the galaxy,
of which, I too- and you
are starlight- too distant yet
to reach the Homeworld and
so close when blindingly
Smashing the horizon and
Loving the loss of childhood.
and shadows.
