A native of Seattle, HeavyGrinder currently resides in Los Angeles where she is a full time celebrity DJ. At age thirteen, she began to actively pursue her love of music and being on center stage by taking up vocal training and modeling. After years of traveling, she made her way to LA in 1998. It was in the City of Angels that she realized her new love, cozying up to the sounds of underground dance music, captivated by the power of the DJ and the reaction of the crowd.

A dream was born.

HeavyGrinder is capturing the attention of audiences worldwide. Spain ( Ibiza ), Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia and Mexico have been key international stops for this talent so far. In the Los Angeles club scene alone, she has played at most notable venues including Key Club, Highlands, Century Club, Avalon, Sunset Room and White Lotus. When she’s not playing in her hometown, HG is regularly headlining events across the United States at some of the biggest clubs and has performed in cities from Anchorage to Washington D.C., and Atlanta back to Honolulu as well as dozens of cities in between.

As of recent, HeavyGrinder has been working on her own music production and has released a track featuring the veteran vocal talents of SuSu Bobien on the well-respected house label, Soundmen on Wax; as well as a track 'You think You do' that was pressed on vinyl by Star Fruits Records.

In Fall of 2007, HeavyGrinder released a compilation CD, 'Living a Dream' from ODE Music in Japan.

In May of 2008, a mix CD,' Eternity' has been released WorldWide from Rhythm Club Records.

HeavyGrinder's first single from her album Eternity, "mind eraser," was a Top 40 iTunes hit for 5 weeks. Her release 'break the wall' was featured in KFC Japan's Ad. Her latest release 'Bass is my BF' was charted in beatport.com 's top 100 in electro house.

Whether it’s a DJ performance, her new mix CD or her efforts in music production, HG continues to demonstrate why she has an ever-growing fan base through out the world and why she will continue to be a name to follow for many years to come.

Plastic Fangs
A new collaboration featuring Tolgar & PM!
SBSIT / Audio Logic / L8 Night / Cloud9

plastic.jpg

This year proves anything is possible. Alumni of Illinois State Junvenile Detention Center, Tolgar & p.m. proudly join forces. Tolgar brings this outfit a wave of credibility demonstrated by his ground breaking releases "A New Take On You" and "Transistor Radial"; tracks that shook the very foundation of electro sound all of last year. On the other end, p.m. celebrated 2009 with a series of eclectic mix compilations (Sextape, Propr, & Rollercoaster) that were the toast of Chicago’s underground. Out on bail, living life with utter disregard, and taking no prisoners: Chicago's own, "Plastic Fangs"

Prepare to be smitten by the next big thing in Chicago's underground.

F8LESS

Starting at the young age of 12, F8less was introduced into the Chicagoland underground party scene. From that point forward, electronic music went from being a choice to a necessity. Diving in head first, he fell in love with Chicago House music. Shortly thereafter, he went from being a participant to a activist in the underground Chicago party scene, throwing parties and spinning. Originally dabbling in House music, evolution in taste lead into the Jungle and Drum N' Bass. Favorites of the time being Casper, Snuggles & 3D, Andy C, Danny The Wildchild, etc. The dirtier the better. While music taste evolved, House always and forever remained a favorite. Be it sentimental, or just plain instinctual.

In the late mid-90's; due to hype and the media coining the term "rave"; the scene slowly began to degrade. The scene went from being about the music to making money. It was at this time, F8less stepped out of the scene to pursue different avenues that life had to offer, while still following the music for the next couple years. It wasn't until 2002, after paths recrossed with Jeekoos of PartTime Suckers (PTS), that he started to reemerge back into the Jungle/Drum N' Bass scene. Slowly Jeekoos became immersed in Dubstep, and F8less along with him. In 2007, he acquired another set of turntables and started to spin again. Starting out spinning old vinyl House favorites and slowly moving over to spinning time coded digital during early 2008. F8less then made his first public appearance on July 3rd, 2008 spinning Dubstep at Cafe Lura, opening up for Cringer and Jeekoos.

Playing the occasional private party, F8less went on to make his first public radio appearance on PartTime Sucker Radio, on 89.3FM WNUR on May 21, 2009.

Theo G
Seismic Bass / Shake-It-Town
theog.jpg

TheoG started out doing a tech-house hybrid live pa in the mid to late 90s under the name "Analogik". After his partner moved to Kansas, Theo ventured off to becoming one of Chicago’s first exclusive laptop DJ’s in 2001. Over the past decade, Theo has evolved into playing the most grimey & dirty electro house music he can find and never plays the same track twice. Fathers hide your daughters because if TheoG gets a hold of them, they will never come clean again...

bit[c]rush
Floasis / Cloud9
bitcrush.jpg

It's official. Kai has made his way from the dancefloor to the DJ booth under the musical project known as bit[c]rush. What started as a compulsion became an obsession as he amassed fresh tunes daily, finding newfangled ways to mash mids , fuse melodies, and braid basslines into an experience that combines the mind of a man and the soul of his generation.

Hailing from Chicago, bit[c]rush is assembling a following of music lovers that are tired of oppressive, dry and monotonous basslines that have plagued the dance circuit in years past. Three words can describe the destruction his musical selection brings: No. Genre. Limitations. IT worker by day--laptop toting, midi manipulating party-smasher by night--bit[c]rush is taking the underground circuit by storm.

OMG!!! $20.00 for local djs & a local djs girlfriend. WTF!

FYI all the adults will be at Smartbar, Spybar, Debonair Social Club, ect. paying a minimal cover & seeing maximum talent!

This is going to be a high school dance!

You obviously have never been to an SBSIT party.

But you don't get what we're selling at a bar or a club for that matter. This is a whole other playing field my friend.

Exactly my point... & exactly why the mature party crowd will be elsewhere.
We've all been to overpriced parties with poor production value before.

BTW, your absolutely right I haven't been to one of these parties. Which leads me to the understanding that you guys haven't been doing this all that long to begin with.

I'm not saying you should stop throwing parties, just know what you events value is ;)

This should be a $10 party...

This is a $10 party with the kind of production you think we will have, however if you ask anyone that was at our last party, Local Flavor VS - will tell you that we bring the pain. Our sound system was so loud that it was raining rock chips and plaster from the ceiling. We throw amazing parties and believe me you don't have to take my word for it.

But its cool man, if you're too legit for the underground, by all means don't believe me ;)

We are the furthest fucking thing from "over priced with poor production value". We are the over produced insane crew. We usually loose money because we go so fucking crazy on production. Dont you dare fucking talk to me about production value. My middle name is production value.

There is a picture from our last show... half circle of the tiesto rig - 4 robotronic movers (the really good expensive kind ;) ) and you cant really see it too well because of all the people raging but a 12 foot long 8 foot high EV wall of sound... oh and TWO 50" Plasma tv's.

That was for our "roster" show. We're bringing out more sound (not that we even need it) and more lighting to this one.

Not exactly a shitty set up. Do you think so?

For those of you on the fence....

TESTIMONIALS FROM OUR LAST EVENT!

shroobs @ Ravelinks.com - "The lighting was AMAZING, DJ''s were AMAZING, the total vibe was probably the best rave I've attended. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED AND MADE THIS POSSIBLE."

Tolgar @ Ravelinks.com - "This is what a successful party should be like. All the elements clicked together and the vibe was excellent. Big thanks to all the guys involved. Stellar promotion and excellent setup... that sound system's bass was like a gigantic, comfortable couch and I had fun rolling around in it."

tiedyeskies @ Ravelinks.com - "Last night was life changing... Way to go Seismic Bass and Shake-it-Town for throwing a party so bumpin' pieces of the ceiling fell off. I was inches away from the action all night and womped my ass off. Bit[c]rush threw down an amazing set, Jade's DnB was a huge highlight, Theo and Kyur mashed up perfectly and really combined styles euphorically. Tolgar Vs PM was rocking start to finish. Massive thanks to everyone who made last night possible and major props to all the talented DJs who killed it all night. Thank you SB/ SIT."

Underground Archive @ Ravelinks.com - "Hats off to SB and SIT. You guys always throw bomb ass parties. Keep doing what you do guys. I had a great time and so did everyone else. The music was on point. All the sets were the shit!"

DiNeR1069 @ Ravelinks.com - "Absolutely amazing.. great music and people and everything. i danced my ass offfff!"

Ganja_Pirates @ Ravelinks.com - "Good times seem to be had by all... props guys on a proper party. Aside from that brick wall falling on me all night, the spot was straight. Looking forward to another quality SB/SIT event... thanks guys"

As of right now its all ages. If anything changes with the venue there will be an announcement but It should remain an all ages show. Stay tuned to the facebook event page as we update everything there first.

- 17+ to enter 21+ to drink!
- Legal venue with a legal bar!
- 7ft high x 30ft long wall of EV MT-4 BASS IN YOUR FACE!
- Extreme concert lighting and visuals
- 1000+ in attendance expected! We're blowing this up!

Also we are working on an afterhours within walking distance to the venue!

This night is going to seriously be epic - DO NOT MISS OUT!

Wow...buddy is a hater. HeavyGrinder is a hawtie and I'm sure I can't go wrong here.

If it's legal event why do I have to text 2 get address?? ughhhh...if it's near downtown i'll probably be there, if it's somewhere out south it's a big hell to the nawww

No. Its near the blue line close to down town. We cannot release the venue information because a) this is just how we do it keep it with an underground feel, and b) the venue owner doesnt want us to. Lets just leave it at that :)

Anyway, for those of you that don't like the lineup. We have a SICK lineup planned for light it up 3 and a festival planned for the summer that will, mark my words, BLOW YOUR MIND. That being said, why don't you come out and support what we are doing now, so that when we're blowing up bigger than anyone thought and are bringing massive back to the Midwest, you can say, "I was there before they blew up, I was there supporting because I had faith in this crew." And you should have faith because we're doing it and we're doing it big.

But by all means, don't believe me... We live in a pessimistic society don't we? Its cool though I probably wouldn't believe anyone else saying this crap either... the only difference is I really am for real and I'm really not on some bullshit ;)

Massive like the raves in san diego in sports arenas and shit? ya doodddd hope your pockets are phat with lewt and stuff.

Eventually, yes. And if we can start pulling 1000+ to these events we have investors that will allow us to bring in massive acts in massive venues.

Like I said. We need the support to do it but it can and will happen.
