if your country imposed the death penalty for drugs, would you still use drugs?

Its not so much about getting high its about freedom to put anything i want into my body and if you the government or the police have a problem with it then **** them.
 
Who wouldn't choose death over rotting in the prison system?

I know this is hypothetical, but who would support such a ridiculous piece of legislation?

Do pharms count? I would stay away from street drugs as I normally do already, if pharms counted as well then fuck I am not going to treat my problems. I would sooner be ridden with ADD than have to take Strattera.
 
i'd strap a nuclear warhead to my chest and set up the timer to read the quantity of drug metabolites in my system. once they're all out of my system, the city gets annihilated into dust and shadows burnt on to the wall.
and of course if i was killed then the bomb would also go kaboom. it's a lose lose, so let me take my pills and smoke my weed and cigarettes k?

or something like that.

I think I could do all of those things discretely enough to avoid being caught. Buying drugs would be too risky though. But I feel that I literally can't live without drugs. I could live without most drugs, but I need weed and caffeine on a daily basis. Life wouldn't really feel worth living to me if I could never get high. agreed. its not like you'd have to grow/make alot becuz it would be strictly for consumption not for profit.

that and i would just buy tylenol 1's, dxm, diphenhydramine, nutmeg, poppyseeds, mouthwash and w/e else there is intoxicating that i can purchase. just try and stop me from buying hygine supplies, cold medicine when im "sick" or ingredients when i feel like "baking" :p
 
Get caught with enough, and you get life in prison in the U.S. (which is why you don't stock up on meth if you're a heavy user :p, get charged for trafficking... without trafficking)

TBH I'd probably major in chemistry and end up synthesizing my own drugs in secret

I would leave the country.

I already think that the idea of much of the united states being "free" is a bunch of crap.

Get caught with a gram or pipe, probably going to be arrested. The act of throwing someone in a cage for possession of a plant, or really any drug is cruel and all too usual.

Were protected from cruel and unusual punishment, but no one really pays attention when it is the usual.
