I dont have faith in politics at all anymore. Pharmacuetical companies could have very well shifted their weight in this. The private lobbyists and interest groups have way more power than people now. The government is just humoring us with elections in my opinion.

Cops can test if your drunk with breathalyzers though. You could be high out of your fucking mind while driving (some people usually are already) and a cop couldn't prove it. I really didn't expect prop 19 to pass. I'm not upset though, possession is just an infraction now. Getting a speeding ticket is worse than getting caught with less than a lid of weed. My weed dealer actually lives closer to me than the nearest store. It would take more effort for me to get legalized weed than it is to get black market shit now. 7-11 doesn't deliver to your house either.
