If you were rich would you still do/sell drugs?

Why would anyone risk their freedom by selling drugs if they've already got plenty of money and a career that's going to keep the money coming in?

However, I would almost certainly use more drugs than I do now if I had more money.
 
rich or poor, i'd never sell drugs. just not cut out for that kind of thing.

if i were rich enough, i'd stop using IV because i'd have the money to get fucked up enough without having to worry about conserving drugs.
 
Let me just put it this way:

If I was rich, my dealer would also be rich!:D
 
yeah, i think if i ever got rich i'd buy a big "bucket" of drugs, all sorts of wild things inside like salvia and mescaline, and take it from there.

...selling drugs seems kind of silly as mentioned earlier, i think Ravr summed it up nicely.
 
If I were rich, I'd move somewhere with medical laws and get a license for pot, take other shit on the DL and never sell a damn thing. I'm a realist; why do something highly illegal where the primary benefit is profit if I don't need the profit. If I want to do something illegal for a rush, well, I could just _take_ the drugs.
 
Man, if I were rich...Itd be bad. It would be like james brown mixed with Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. All sorts of fucked up all the time. One phone call (to a part of my villa) and id be noddin in 10 minutes :D...a quick golf cart trip to the woods house behind the villa and id be trippin...30 minutes after I began to nod:) I would have a dispenser for every reasonably recreational pharmie created, sandboxes of coke in every room...and my personal assistant would purely be my personal dealer/substance "advisor." With my enourmous wealth I would also hold large concerts at my villa with IMO top psychedelic bands (read: buckethead and STS9). I would also divide my villa into sections according to the substance that is used most prevelently in that section...The uppers part wouldnt have beds and the acid house would be rediculous...oh, and the rave room would have lots of candy and water fountains on all walls.

And here is the catch. Id open some parts of my villa to certain areas of the public, allowing admission for a nominal fee. Then I would attain an alcohol liscense and making bank just as if I would if I owned a top club or something. Oh, but I wouldnt sell illegal substances...........they would be on the house=D

I would still do drugs for sure, maybe not more though, I'd spend that money trotting the globe watching the Aussies play every sport imaginable.
 
If i was rich i'd buy my gear by the key....i'd spend the rest of my life doped up.
 
definatley still use drugs. and at that id probably use my star power to get the more rare exotic drugs and do lots of travelling

Hell yeah, I'd still do drugs, especially with all the extra money. I might even have some entourage members around that could take the fall for me if I ever got caught with stuff on me. ;)

Selling though? That just doesn't make much sense.
 
If I was rich from the start, id probably be dead right now. If I got rich these days then id be doped up and coked up nearly all the time an have a life not unlike zekethemusicman. I have dreamed nearly identical dreams, like having a seperate part of the house for each of the kind of drugs I do, a section for depressants, section for stims, psych's, party room etc...

We can dream.
 
I've thought about this a lot. This summer I did a lot of smoking while watching "Cribs." I'm going to second whoever said they'd just start skydiving and whatnot. I mean, if I have all that money I could visit a different city/country every week if I wanted. If I gained a lot of new connections with my wealth, I'd definitely pick up some good acid occasionally and probably try a few things that I just couldn't get in satisfactory quality/at all right now (MDMA or opium), but otherwise I think I could survive on growing one plant of three different strains at a time in the hobbit-hole I'd have constructed.
 
I wouldn't deal, but being rich would definitely enable me to take more of my favorite drug, cocaine. I <3 coke as expensive as it is, so I can only imagine having sugar bowls of it in every room, and mirror top tables everywhere. It would be like living in a fantasy land... :)
